According to UNICEF, gender bias against women in STEM emerges as early as primary school. To prevent losing the next generation of brilliant women leaders, we need to nurture talent early. That's exactly what Lenovo's 'Girls Belong in Tech' initiative is doing — equipping girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to lead the way in tomorrow's tech industry. Already, South East Asia leads the way with more women in tech than the global average. This diversity is what makes the region such a vibrant nexus of innovation, and every effort we can make to help foster it further is a win for the whole industry. https://lnv.gy/4chGac5

Overcoming the challenges faced by climate change requires hard work from companies everywhere to reduce the impact of their operations. According to Deloitte, organizations across Asia Pacific are boosting their environmental efforts and making changes for the better. Still, with just under half of consumers in the region supporting new climate protection regulations, more needs to be done to make ESG second nature. Emerging technologies such as AI and IoT are key to helping organizations reduce resource use and protect the planet. https://bit.ly/3XDetpZ

Lenovo has once again been ranked in Gartner's Supply Chain Top 25. It's an exceptional honor in recognition of an excellent supply chain across the whole organization, but in my mind, it signifies one important achievement in particular. By focusing on building devices closer to customers, Lenovo has prioritized using the local skilled labor force and shortening product freight miles. Being a responsible global company means looking after each of the communities in which we operate and using innovation to promote development. https://lnv.gy/4byqSiB

As the world's oldest entirely wooden structure, the Yingxian pagoda is an unlikely match for Lenovo's groundbreaking AI technology. But with the 968-year-old pagoda closed to tourists, an AI-powered digital twin has been able to capture every detail, down to the wood grain. The level of detail rendered across over 15 million facets of data helps keep the legacy of this historic structure alive and lets visitors keep enjoying its splendor. Importantly, it's also proving a valuable asset in restoring the pagoda and preserving its historical integrity. https://lnv.gy/4bdnx8m

According to Deloitte, 60% of current students believe generative AI has influenced their career decisions. These students are 30% more likely to use generative AI than current workers. The workforce has already changed dramatically in the time it will take them to complete their degrees, yet this willingness to greet change head-on shows they are perhaps more prepared than many within the workforce. It's an important reminder that AI isn't going anywhere, and those who use it best will be at an advantage.

AI's introduction to the classroom has been viewed as disruptive, but it has clear advantages that are worth examining. As AI PCs put localized AI in the hands of educators, its power to help students break down and learn ever more complicated concepts grows. These tools are not replacing core skills such as writing, but rather augmenting and adding depth to them.
