According to UNICEF, gender bias against women in STEM emerges as early as primary school. To prevent losing the next generation of brilliant women leaders, we need to nurture talent early. That's exactly what Lenovo's 'Girls Belong in Tech' initiative is doing — equipping girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to lead the way in tomorrow's tech industry. Already, South East Asia leads the way with more women in tech than the global average. This diversity is what makes the region such a vibrant nexus of innovation, and every effort we can make to help foster it further is a win for the whole industry. https://lnv.gy/4chGac5

👏 We're thrilled to announce that the AI-PRISM Consortium Partners are joining the #InspireInclusion International Campaign in honor of Women's Day! 🎉 A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible women who have joined us in this inspiring movement towards greater diversity and equality. Your participation is a testament to the power of unity and inclusion. Together, let's continue to uplift and empower women everywhere! 💪✨ #WomensDay #InspireInclusion #AI_PRISM 🚀👩💼🌍 In this post we are sharing the quote from Bianca Muntean, PhD from Transilvania IT Cluster on her approach to challenges facing women worldwide in terms of inclusion: "As someone deeply involved in the tech world and a woman who has navigated her way to leadership positions, I see firsthand the challenges women face worldwide when it comes to inclusion. One of the most significant hurdles is ensuring equal access to education and skills development, particularly in the tech field. Throughout history, women have been underrepresented in #STEM fields, and this trend persists today. To address this challenge effectively, we need to take concrete steps to promote and facilitate women's access to education and training in technology. This includes implementing programs focused on education and mentorship, designed to encourage girls and women to explore STEM fields and provide support and guidance along their educational journeys. We must also work to eliminate gender stereotypes associated with STEM fields, fostering the belief that women can excel and succeed in these domains just as well as men. Creating an inclusive and equal environment within educational institutions and organizations is crucial, ensuring that women feel supported and encouraged to pursue their passions in technology without fear of discrimination or marginalization. Additionally, promoting female role models in the tech industry can inspire and empower other women and girls to pursue careers in this field. Ensuring access to resources and opportunities relevant to women in technology, including funding programs, job opportunities, and projects, is also essential to help women develop their skills and realize their ideas. As someone deeply committed to advancing digital transformation in my region and beyond, I believe it's crucial to leverage my networks and influence to promote initiatives that foster inclusivity and equality for women in technology. By championing these efforts, we can work towards creating a more equitable and diverse tech industry where women can thrive and make significant contributions." Thank you Bianca for your contribution!!! 👏
