This weekend our home of Northwest Arkansas was hit with some strong storms. Now, our number one priority is supporting our associates and community. I'm so thankful for all our associates who have stepped up to help, like Al, Jen, Rickey, Joe, and everyone else pitching in to serve hot meals to our friends and neighbors today. I also appreciate Hollie and the team from the Neighborhood Market 3654 in Rogers for their hard work, and our partnership with Tyson Foods. Thank you, all!

I had the privilege to be part of Walmart’s response to the tornado that impacted Rolling Fork, MS last year and have been amazed by how much even the little things meant to those that were impacted. Thank you to all of the associates and teams helping with the response to this storm. You are bringing a bright spot to dark days.

It's truly inspiring to see Walmart and its associates coming together to support the community during challenging times. Your commitment to serving hot meals and providing assistance to our friends and neighbors is commendable. It's partnerships like the one with Tyson Foods that showcase the power of collaboration in making a positive impact. as you continue to inspire others with your dedication and leadership.

Such a history of stepping up when natural disasters occur. I was there when Mike Duke was CEO and remember when the Joplin Tornado hit. We were in Joplin the next morning. I still have friends that live in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and Fayetteville. All are safe thank goodness. Thank you Doug for all you do.

it's a lot. almost too much. we will leave this space better than we found it, but it will take time.

This is what community is all about. Some people call my hometown (Las Vegas, NV) Sin City. But whenever a time comes for the banding together, our neighbors and community step up and do whatever is needed. The pandemic was a prime example. Our city was literally shut down, closed up. Yet, because of our close ties as a Community we managed to make it through. Congratulations to these fine people in Arkansas and I’m sure you’ll make it through all of this as well as being proud of yourselves for your commitment.

Please note that many tornado victims are sheltering in NWA hotels right now. They are being told starting Friday that they will have to leave to make room for Walmart shareholder attendees. It might be a good idea to skip the event this year.

I had the honor of working with this team after Hurricane Ian devastated Ft. Myers, FL. At that time, I already loved my Walmart. After that experience it cemented in my mind that I work for an amazing company that truly cares about its customers and associates. Handing a hot meal to someone who has lost everything and seeing the look of comfort come across their face knowing that people are here to help and everything will be ok was truly a life changing experience. Great job Walmart and thank you to all those working tirelessly to help in a time of need.
