We wanted to take time to express our gratitude to the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Oklahoma City Chapter for their recent contribution to ReMerge in May! NPHC generously collected toiletries at their recent hygiene drive benefitting ReMerge. Thank you for helping to fulfill our need for African American hair care products as well as collecting lotions, soaps, and feminine hygiene products. ReMerge focuses on individualized, wraparound care for each mother, and we are grateful to NPHC for helping ensure that we can continue to foster an environment that is culturally responsive so all ReMerge moms feel seen, valued, and heard from the moment they walk into ReMerge throughout the entirety of their treatment and recovery journey. #okc #communitypartnerships #holistictreatment #diversion #justicereform

June 19th, 1865, marks the day that all enslaved people were made aware of the Emancipation Proclamation and officially released from their bonds. As much as it marks a celebration of freedom, Juneteenth, or Freedom Day, is also a reminder of delayed freedom and systemic inequity. Let today provide an opportunity to reflect on how we can move forward and inspire the continued fight for justice reform and equity for all. ReMerge is a four-phase program typically lasting 18 to 24 months to complete. Each day ReMerge moms are taking the next right steps and learning new skills to achieve the competencies necessary to phase up in their program. It is not always easy, but they persevere; continuing to show up for themselves and their children. Congratulations on phasing up, ladies! Today we celebrate THIRTEEN ReMerge mothers who have been restored to our community. These remarkable women have each faced unique challenges throughout their journey, yet here they stand today as graduates.
