Since the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, over 100,000 clean energy jobs have been created in the United States. By 2032, IREC predicts there will be over 500,000 solar jobs.    And we have witnessed this growth firsthand at Nextracker. In the past year, we opened two new manufacturing centers across the U.S. with Unimacts Global, LLC and JM Steel focused on American-made green steel, and recently celebrated our biggest milestone yet: 100 GW of solar trackers shipped globally. Nextracker employees in Fremont, CA honored #Juneteenth this week with a lunch catered by local black-owned businesses and a workshop with Jeremiah Jackson, the founder and CEO of Starting with US. Staff discovered the meaning, history, and traditions of Juneteenth and discussed how Juneteenth impacts each of us. Everyone learned something from the event—from the meaning behind the Juneteenth flag to the history of Juneteenth in Galveston, TX. Thank you to Jeremiah for an informative and engaging event.

Yesterday we celebrated new Nextracker-dedicated manufacturing lines at a Unimacts Global, LLC steel factory in Sloan, Nevada.     This new facility will supply critical steel components for solar power plants across the Southwest, creating new manufacturing jobs in the clean energy sector, strengthening local economic development, and decreasing electricity costs for ratepayers.     We are happy to celebrate American manufacturing alongside our esteemed customers, elected officials, and supply partners.
