How can you manage branding across multiple locations?
For internal consistency, brand managers should take advantage of company forums such as intranets and all-hands meetings or town halls. The key to building internal brand engagement is repetition, repetition, repetition - and possibly gamifying the experience to make it less tedious for say, the engineering department. For external brand alignment, I agree with Jatin Khattar that a brand guideline or brand book is imperative- especially if your company works with multiple agencies across multiple languages, and cultures - all coming to your brand program with different styles and perspectives. Key is to continue to evolve that brand book and disseminate and speak to it frequently!

Over the last five years, the academic criteria in United States schools has shifted toward an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The Obama Administration’s Educate to Innovate campaign was the basis for this reinvigoration of STEM education, however, the initiative has yet to affect American students as was originally idealized.

The Obama Administration’s Educate to Innovate campaign was the basis for this reinvigoration of STEM education, however, the initiative has yet to affect American students as was originally idealized.
More than half of current STEM students at the college level report that they chose their academic focus because a teacher or class in middle or high school inspired their interest in a STEM field. For female students, who are historically less represented in STEM disciplines, this is especially true: 68 percent say that it was a particular teacher or class that got them interested in pursuing a STEM education.
Leading our 2nd year of STEM for Millennials program, I recruited engineers to volunteer with Castlemont High School, in partnership with the Sustainable Urban Design Academy, to inspire and mentor 9th graders through a specially tailored STEM curriculum that allowed the students to learn basic engineering concepts and process design.

The growth of desalination in China

This was a fascinating project to work on. I hired a local Beijing production house called the Bag Ladies (I highly recommend them if you need a Chinese film outfit) and we shot over a few days in Shanghai during a large water show called AquaTech China. Thanks to my very capable colleague, Ping Zuo, we secured four key interviews with desalination industry players - they shared their experiences in the growth of desalination and how Energy Recovery's PX technology contributed to the growth…

Over the course of 2022, I had the privilege of crafting a 'rolling thunder' campaign across multiple states telling the story of Nextracker's leadership and experience in clean energy manufacturing. In collaboration with sales, supply chain, and government affairs, we created this campaign to celebrate the opening of three Nextracker-dedicated manufacturing facilities producing critical components for large scale solar. Winning this award is a celebration for our entire industry. It's the story of creating new jobs, de-risking the domestic supply chain, and investing in solar manufacturing to build 25 GW of annual domestic capacity.
