In honor of the 9th day of the month, we are highlighting a member of the Girl Talk Community who has beat the statistic that a girl's self-esteem peaks at the age of 9. Meet Talia! ✨ Talia's Girl Talk journey started her junior year of high school, when became a Girl Talk Club Leader at her school. Since then, she has also been a Girl Talk Camp Counselor and a volunteer after graduating. We can't wait to see Talia continue to grow and lead others. “Girl Talk is a community that I know will always love and support me. It has taught me how to live authentically and be confident in who I am.” We have been inspiring girls like Talia to be confident leaders for over two decades, and in partnership with Dove and Sam's Club will be doubling our reach nationwide. Since then, she has returned as a camper, become a Camp Counselor, Lead Counselor, and Girl Talk Ambassador. We are so proud to see her continuing to shine her light and now mentor her peers! “Girl Talk has taught me to embrace my confidence and be true to myself. I have become a better leader since practicing being more vulnerable, inclusive, and uplifting."
