Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. sends a huge thank you to all of our attendees for joining us at our fundraising initiative, Pass The Purse Empowerment Tea held this summer! We paired strong, respected, influential Charlotte women who impart wisdom and guidance to a Girl Talk jewel they have agreed to mentor; thereby, transforming their lives through this character-building program. A special thank you to our Women of Inspiration, Raz Barnwell (VP, Digital Innovation at Sodexo), Katina Wallace (Operations Leader and Founder/CEO of Imagenthusiast, and lastly, Gyovanni Boston-Crompton (Delivery Lead with Bank of America). We appreciate your mentorship to our JEWELS. This couldn’t be done without you and your support! We thank all of our sponsors for supporting our organization's signature programs, "Tailoring Teens for Success" and "Pass The Purse Empowerment Tea". They are the reason our mission is made possible! Thank you to: • Enterprise Holdings ROAD Forward Initiative • Belk, Inc. • Microsoft • Synchrony Bank • Wells Fargo • Rack Room Shoes We would like to acknowledge our top sponsor, The Enterprise Holdings ROAD Forward Initiative. They have remained a committed partner through our transition in leadership and for our signature program “Tailoring Teens for Success”. The Pass The Purse Empowerment Tea is held to: • Build girls’ emotional and social capabilities in order to produce positive life outcomes. • Support our signature program “Tailoring Teens for Success” (TTFS) which is a 13-week character building and leadership development curriculum for girls (ages 11-16 years old). It's designed to transform the lives of girls to become self-aware, self-managed and socially competent. TTFS serves as Girl Talk Foundation's core program. • Assist development objectives through sponsorship opportunities, consumer ticket sales and donations. We look forward to continuing to transform the lives of girls ages 11-16 through character-building programs that develop self-awareness, self-management and social competence which lead them to become a self-aware, self-managed and socially competent woman.
