Council of the Great City Schools reposted this
As a degreed special educator and system leader, this is a topic that truly needs to be explored and addressed. Kudos to the Council of the Great City Schools for elevating the discussion. Every possible resource, including AI, should be explored to assist all students especially the most fragile.
Chief Information Officer for Fulton County Schools | Keynote Speaker | Advisory Board Member | Retired Army Officer | Adjunct Professor | Doctoral Mentor
I had a great time presenting with my son Arden Phillips at the Council of the Great City Schools CIO Conference. Our Topic? How Districts are Failing Students with Special Needs and How AI Can Help. With Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and a knack for IT and AI Arden has a rich and unique experience to share about the future of AI in schools for all students, Especially those with special needs. It’s also been Amazing to see Arden interact with leaders from some of the top EdTech organizations and companies. His future is very bright! #whateverITtakes
