We are thrilled to share the remarkable progress we have made in the first quarter of 2024 to expand our unique platform and care model, aimed at empowering providers and improving access to high-quality and high-value healthcare for local communities across the country.   This quarter, we have officially reached the 1 million member milestone! In addition, we made strong progress in terms of clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, and made meaningful progress against our strategic roadmap.   We also continue to ensure that our rapid growth remains sustainable so that we can uphold our commitment and mission for years to come. With the current momentum of our business, we're in great position to lead the charge towards a future where all Americans enjoy access to best-in-class healthcare services. We'd like to thank all of our providers, teammates, and partners as we continue building this future together. To the stars!

Today, we become Astrana Health. A message from our President and CEO, Brandon K. Sim: Our journey began with a simple mission - to provide great healthcare to a local community, and our mission has not changed except in the number of communities we hope to serve. The transition we are now seeing - and in many ways have helped to lead - is towards a world in which access, equity, quality, and value are at the forefront of every healthcare interaction. That transition is only accelerating in every community across the country, and we have a duty, now more than ever, to take our model and serve the millions more who need it. To that end, from humble regional roots, we've now expanded into a national force, extending our services to over 10,000 providers and 900,000 value-based care patients across Nevada, Texas, and key regions of California – spanning San Francisco, the Central Valley, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino. Our team has grown to encompass over 1,500 talented individuals across the country. Our dedication to innovation shines through the development of cutting-edge tools – clinical and coordinated care solutions, a comprehensive technology suite, and forward-thinking payer and administrative solutions. We've fortified our care delivery capabilities across primary, multispecialty, and ancillary clinics, spanning three states and serving over 700,000 unique patients in our clinics annually across 61 locations. We are now bearing the responsibility for total cost of care for our patients, coordinating care using technology in a smart, domain-adapted way to solve issues like barriers to care, high cost, and inefficiency and waste in the healthcare system. This evolution is not only about expansion but also about a profound commitment to innovation, efficiency, accountability, and, most importantly, the well-being of those who entrust us with their care. Yet throughout all this growth and transformation, our identity has remained steadfast, based on the same principles of our founding providers. We believe in enabling localized, coordinated healthcare at scale. We believe in empowering our entrepreneurial, star providers and creating a holistic constellation, an ecosystem that addresses a patient in all ways - socially, physically, culturally, and clinically. And we believe in building a team of star teammates to accelerate our path towards achieving our vision. We envision a world in which, during the next decade, we will serve hundreds of communities across the country, our infrastructure will empower tens of thousands of providers at hundreds of practice locations, and our star providers will see tens of millions of patients a year with our support. As we wrap up another incredible year, we took the time to celebrate the season with our amazing colleagues at ApolloMed. Our holiday party was filled with good food, great company, and, most importantly, a good cause! This year, we decided to add a special touch by supporting a meaningful cause. We hosted a charity casino night and all proceeds will go to The Trevor Project. It warms our hearts to make a positive impact not only within our company but also in the wider community. At ApolloMed, we strive to make a positive social impact on the patients and communities we serve. We recognize the importance of ensuring access to healthcare for all patients, including low-income and underserved patient populations. We pledge to make a positive impact on society while delivering exceptional healthcare services. By prioritizing sustainability, social responsibility, and culturally-competent care, we aim to create a better future for all. Here are some excerpts from our report! • We continued to serve all patient populations with high-quality and culturally-competent care, with 75% of patients identifying as Hispanic/Latino, AAPI, or Black/African American in 2022. • We believe a diverse workforce composed of individuals with unique perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences enables us to better serve the diverse communities we support. Over 65% of our workforce identifies as female, and over 90% identifies as Hispanic/Latino or other underrepresented groups.
