Today, we become Astrana Health. A message from our President and CEO, Brandon K. Sim:
Our journey began with a simple mission - to provide great healthcare to a local community, and our mission has not changed except in the number of communities we hope to serve. The transition we are now seeing - and in many ways have helped to lead - is towards a world in which access, equity, quality, and value are at the forefront of every healthcare interaction. That transition is only accelerating in every community across the country, and we have a duty, now more than ever, to take our model and serve the millions more who need it.
To that end, from humble regional roots, we've now expanded into a national force, extending our services to over 10,000 providers and 900,000 value-based care patients across Nevada, Texas, and key regions of California – spanning San Francisco, the Central Valley, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino. Our team has grown to encompass over 1,500 talented individuals across the country. Our dedication to innovation shines through the development of cutting-edge tools – clinical and coordinated care solutions, a comprehensive technology suite, and forward-thinking payer and administrative solutions. We've fortified our care delivery capabilities across primary, multispecialty, and ancillary clinics, spanning three states and serving over 700,000 unique patients in our clinics annually across 61 locations. We are now bearing the responsibility for total cost of care for our patients, coordinating care using technology in a smart, domain-adapted way to solve issues like barriers to care, high cost, and inefficiency and waste in the healthcare system.
This evolution is not only about expansion but also about a profound commitment to innovation, efficiency, accountability, and, most importantly, the well-being of those who entrust us with their care. Yet throughout all this growth and transformation, our identity has remained steadfast, based on the same principles of our founding providers. We believe in enabling localized, coordinated healthcare at scale. We believe in empowering our entrepreneurial, star providers and creating a holistic constellation, an ecosystem that addresses a patient in all ways - socially, physically, culturally, and clinically. And we believe in building a team of star teammates to accelerate our path towards achieving our vision. We envision a world in which, during the next decade, we will serve hundreds of communities across the country, our infrastructure will empower tens of thousands of providers at hundreds of practice locations, and our star providers will see tens of millions of patients a year with our support.
To honor what we have built, to express our present identity, and to energize our vision for the future we will create, I am proud to share that ApolloMed is now Astrana Health.
