Wat hebben we hier toch mooie seizoenen , in de lente alles lichtgroen, en de zomer alles groen in de herfst alle kleuren van de regenboog en in de winter alles wit, prachtig!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What we have here quite beautiful seasons in the spring everything is light green, and the summer everything is green in the fall colors of the rainbow and in winter everything is white, gorgeous !!!

Mt Ngauruhoe (aka Mt Doom, from Lord of the Rings fame) makes a fleeting appearance through the gathering cloud. Taken just before sunset. Climbing this classic conical active volcano forms a popular (if strenuous) diversion along the very popular and spectacular Tongariro Crossing hike, arguably the best day-walk in New Zealand.

Hi this is the Dutzendteichs in Nürnberg a very nice area of my city.

Happy New Year to all!

The Worthington Glacier is a 5,774-acre valley glacier.

It is located in spectacular Thompson Pass, 28 miles north of Valdez on the Richardson Highway. Just one of the MANY stunning sights one sees as they approach Valdez.

Thanks for taking a look. Always appreciated!

Happy Friday!

Externsteine on a cold November day. After a week with rain and storm the weather calmed down and the temperatures dropped significantly. We used Saturday for a trip into the Detmold Area to visit the Externsteine and the Hermannsdenkmal.

Hiking in the Tatra Montain park at Zakopane, in Poland.

This is the lake called Czarny Staw, close to lake called Morskie Oko.

One of the many river Tagus channels near Escaroupim. In this area of the river, the water is already fresh offering this hidden gem with its green banks banks full of life.

Aspens usually grow in groves with an interconnected root systems. Rare to find one all alone along Last Dollar Road.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by.

Athabasca Falls in September when the flow is low. This falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (76 feet, 23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge. Can be tough to get a shot from this spot in the Spring. Lots of misty and spray.

Another must stop along the Icefields Parkway, which is in view on the other side of the river.

More shots in comments.

Many thanks for taking a look!

Seljalandsfoss was one of the first waterfall photos I saw of Iceland and upon seeing it I was amazed and knew I had to visit one day. So to finally see it in person was definitely a dream come true! One of the unique features of this waterfall is you can walk behind it, however when I went in March the ice was starting to melt and we were discouraged from walking behind or risk getting impaled by falling ice shards. Ah well, all the reason to visit Iceland again!

Some amusing things that happened here:

1. There was a small Icelandic wedding happening that day in front of the waterfall with the guys dressed in suits, the bride, and bridesmaids in their matching dresses. It was probably right around 32F/0C that day so I salute them for toughing it out.

2. There was a girl who tried to follow her much taller boyfriend in jumping across one of the side streams. She thought she made it across but then fell backwards into the water and was soaked from head to toe. Again it was 32F/0C that day :) At least the boyfriend was a gentleman and held up a towel to cover the door while she changed in the car later.
