Truly an *amazing* country, and proud to be able to (someday) call it home.
On vacation for a week here in New Zealand and we're all having the greatest of trips (as we always do down here). Place is so family friendly and very geared towards the tourists to ensure a great time is had by all.
Still massively limited on my bandwidth (Mb restrictions) out of the hotels though (the only complaint I have on this trip), so dripping in a few photos while I can.

Happy New Year to All! May 2020 be even better than 2019! This was the first sunrise of the new decade. We have been cloudy and cold for days. As I woke this morning, this was the view outside my window - a sunrise!

This 3 storeyed late 14th century timber building started life as the "New Inn" built c. 1386-96. Taxes were based on the building's footprint so these ingenious owners built out above the first level & second level!
These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.
Day 3: Oxford on a cold October day in 2012. We took a walk around Oxford filling in time until our train left to go back to London.
Oxford, a city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval centre led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the 'City of Dreaming Spires'. University College and Magdalen College are off the High Street, which runs from Carfax Tower (with city views) to the Botanic Garden on the River Cherwell.
I, usually, come to Loch Lomond once a year to take photos of the skiers and snow boarders. The hills are empty.
One thing I don't understand about the lockdown is the closing of the ski hills. I feel like this could operate safely, spacing people out and keep the activity outdoors. This is just my opinion.
Our lockdown is until next weekend so it will be nice to see these small businesses making some money before the season is over.
