The Daily Shoot assignment for 2010/07/06:
Today's theme is the color blue. Blue sky. Blue plate. Blue M&Ms. Make a photo of something blue and post it today.
The light was good for a while on Sunday so all that was left to do was find an interesting perch in the forest, trying to fing a spot where clean bokeh could be achieved.

Some of you will remember that my dear friend Frank buys me flowers at the Violet Town market each month. This time I was very surprised to receive some pretty blue Chrysanthemums. I know they've been artificially coloured but I don't know how it's done. Does anyone in the flickrverse know?

I hope I have the details correct.
Derek Jarman was a good director who died in 1994 from HIV. He wanted to direct his last movie before dying but the disease was so advanced that he was already 100% blind. He decided to make the movie anyway. It's called "Blue", and all you see for its entire length it's just a blue screen. I watched it once, when I was a teenager, and I still remember it as a good movie!

I saw a few damselflies at the site and had hoped one might be different to my local species.
This sadly looks like it will be common blue male.
