If you love the citrusy bite of Campari, it’s time to meet your new summer drink. The Sicilian Slush pairs the Italian aperitivo with herbal gin and plenty of freshly squeezed orange juice to create a blush-pink, bittersweet slushie that delivers even more refreshment.

    Makes 4 cocktails

Ingredients

½ cup Campari
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup fresh orange juice
¼ cup gin
¼ cup (or more) simple syrup
4 orange wheels

Preparation

  1. Blend Campari, lemon juice, orange juice, gin, simple syrup, and 6 cups ice in a blender until smooth. Taste and add more simple syrup, if desired. Divide among 4 rocks glasses and garnish with orange wheels.

  • Perfect cocktail for the hottest summer evenings! Generous 4 cups of ice is plenty! More than that it’s just too watery. Agave nectar works well in lieu of simple syrup.
