We're in Keir Starmer's constituency to remind him of the impact the cruel 2 child limit has on 1 in every 9 children in the UK, punishing those with two or more siblings through capped financial support. We believe every child should have the chance to enjoy the summer holidays, filled with fun, freedom, and time with friends. They should have returned to school or started nursery equipped and ready to learn. We're horrified to see schools and shelters continually targeted in airstrikes across Gaza. Yesterday's airstrike was the sixth school that Israeli Forces have hit in 10 days. How many children need to die before world leaders take action? #CeasefireNOW #StopTheWarOnChildren

As the conflict in Gaza continues, children are still being denied access to aid by Israeli Government restrictions. This is having dire consequences. 96% of the population in the Gaza Strip face acute food shortages, with more than 495,000 people, including children, at risk of starvation. At least 34 Palestinians have died from malnutrition since October 7th, the majority being children. Children are dying now. This must stop. The Government of Israel must lift the siege and allow unimpeded humanitarian access for aid workers and life-saving supplies to tackle malnutrition. #Gaza #StopTheWarOnChildren #CeasefireNOW

Israeli weapons packed with small pieces of shrapnel are causing devastating injuries to children in Gaza. Every day, 10 children lose one or both legs due to blast injuries and thousands more have been killed. Shrapnel can also leave smaller entry wounds, but cause horrific destruction inside the body. With Gaza’s health system decimated, children being treated lack adequate pain relief. Healthcare workers don't have access to morphine and are having to treat blast injuries with paracetamol. This just isn't right. The children of Gaza need action. Not words. The UK Government must immediately suspend arms to the Government of Israel and demand an immediate and definitive #CeasefireNOW.
