80% of teachers in England want more relevant content like AI and digital skills in the curriculum, according to our recent consultation of over 2,000 teachers and students. This was one of our largest ever consultations and it found widespread appetite for a richer 11-16 curriculum in England. We'd like to thank everyone who responded to this consultation - these views are so important, and they will inform our upcoming review into 11-16 education in England. We're delighted to be attending The Sociological Review’s Undisciplining II conference, 10 – 12 September, in Salford. Our sociology subject advisor, Tom, will be participating in a fireside chat on Weds 11 September, 4.30pm – 6pm. The discussion will explore how the sociological imagination can be incorporated into the A Level curriculum. It will also cover how schools and colleges can collaborate more closely with higher education. Teachers can currently access special rate tickets to attend on 11 September: £50 for the full day or £20 for the afternoon. Tom's chat will also be livestreamed on YouTube, so you can watch from wherever works best for you: https://bit.ly/3S2gKHG.
