It's been a fun-filled and informative two days at the UK Festival of Education. We had a fantastic time meeting so many educators passionate about supporting students - it was great to see so many of your faces at our stand and throughout our sessions. Here's just a few of our highlights from the past two days - we'd love to hear yours, too! See you next year. 🎉 #EducationFest

Together, let’s ask the questions that matter.
About us
At AQA, we’re proud to be the leading provider of accessible qualifications and support services for teachers and students. We set and mark around half of all GCSEs and A-levels taken in the UK every year; we ask the questions that matter, so that every learner can achieve the results they deserve. Teachers and learners are at the heart of everything we do. As an independent education charity, any money we make is reinvested back into research so that every learner receives fair and inclusive assessment. We’re always here for our teachers and support them through free training, expert guidance and unbeatable resources. As the most chosen awarding body, we have the biggest teaching community too – teachers are in good company with AQA. The AQA Group also includes Exampro, TQUK, Project Q, AlphaPlus, Grademaker.

📢 Following an amazing attendance last week at the 14th UK Festival of Education held at Wellington College, we are proud to announce that AQA will continue its support of #EducationFest as Headline Partner for a further three years. As Headline Partner, we’ve secured a fantastic opportunity to continue to listen, learn and engage with the teaching community, making sure that you are part of the conversation on how we can work and learn together to shape the future of education. It’s a priority at AQA that we continue to support our teachers, helping them and their students realise their full potential. Having the opportunity to meet and engage with you in person at events like the Festival of Education enables us to connect more than ever before. At the heart of what we offer is providing support and services that enable learning, and our Headline Partnership gives you a chance to meet face-to-face with the dedicated teams at AQA, who strive to always develop better assessment and improved support to teachers and students. Events like these help us demonstrate that we are more than an exam board. By placing teachers – our customers – front and centre, and by using our world-class research and expertise, we not only stay relevant in the assessment world, but we also help define it. The Festival of Education helps us tell this story directly to teachers and stakeholders right across the education sector. Thank you to #EducationFest and EducationScape for allowing us this continued opportunity for partnership, innovation and being at the heart of the conversation. We look forward to the next three years of inspiring and innovating, together. If you would like to join in and help us shape tomorrow, register your interest here. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eNZ2etFq

Delighted to feature in Schools Week and FE Week today with a piece looking at assessment reform. When the DfE launches its much anticipated independent curriculum review, how should it approach its task? I argue that at a time when money is tight and change fatigue in the sector is high, we need to look at more innovative approaches to changing behaviour, rather than always defaulting to major structural reform. Very grateful to Sam Booth, William Yates, Oli de Botton and Nicole McCartney for a fascinating panel discussion last week which inspired the piece. See what you think, and let me know if you disagree!

How do you deliver qualification reform on a tight budget? In Schools Week and FE Week today, our Director of External Affairs Reza Schwitzer says tackle the perception of the qualification, not just its structure, and you’ll be right on the money. https://lnkd.in/eGSZHtAJ
