Our brilliant CEO standing up for women and anyone else who wears what they want to wear! 👏 Debra Allcock Tyler is speaking at our Women in Leadership conference in September, learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eUEXheiF
I’m a senior woman wearing a bright green cape with multi-coloured flowers on it. Come at me if you dare. Angela Rayner and any woman can wear what the hell they like. And it’s also not ok to to add the rider ‘provided she does a good job’. We can wear what we like regardless. And so can you men if you have courage to break with the absolute nonsense of gender based clothing rules.

Yesterday, the team met up in London for our all-staff away day and we had a hoot! Despite the journey to Friends House reminding us why we love working from home (it took our colleague Kate 2 days to fly from Cyprus via Poland!), connecting in person was well worth the effort. We gained wellbeing tips, discussed neurodivergence in the workplace and explored the importance of the charity sector through a collaging session. DSC spirits were high throughout our 'Would I Lie to You' quiz, hosted by George Knight, which as usual, Debra Allcock Tyler's team won... We also had the opportunity to grill DSC's Trustees in a faux 'Question Time' session - see Cathy Shimmin's brilliant Fiona Bruce mask in the pictures below. The day was a great reminder of what a fantastic team we have working at DSC and how well we all work together. 💜
