Marks Obtained in M.B.B.S. University Examinations:
Above 70%: 5 marks
Above 65%: 4 marks
Above 60%: 3 marks
Above 55%: 2 marks

Note: In cases where candidates have failed one or more M.B.B.S. exams, the total marks will be calculated by taking the average of the failing and passing marks in the concerned subject. For candidates with an M.B.B.S. degree from foreign recognized institutions, the marks will be calculated by multiplying the percentage obtained in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test by a factor of 0.6.
Marks Obtained in Applied Specialty Subject or Group of Subjects
Above 70%: 5 marks

Above 60%: 3 marks
Above 55%: 2 marks
Above 50%: 1 mark
Note: In cases of failure in the applied specialty subject or subject group, the average of failing and passing marks will be considered as the marks obtained in the concerned subject.
Postgraduate Qualifications
M.D./M.S. or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India: 10 marks
Ph.D., D.M., M.Ch. in the same specialty, and D.N.B. (Superspeciality): 10 marks
Work Experience in Government Sector: 2 marks per completed year, up to a maximum of 10 marks
Interview: 6 marks
