Jon Daly said he was delighted with the new signings who featured for the first time against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght on Thursday night but insisted Dundalk needed more players through the door before the end of the month.

The 41-year-old handed starting debuts to on loan defender Bobby Faulkner and winger Jad Hakiki against the champions while Scott McGill and Norman Garbett made decent impacts off the bench in the second half. With Hayden Cann also an unused sub, Dundalk have already been one of the busiest clubs in the window since it opened on July 1.
