Who's winning the unaided awareness Olympics? 🏃 If you're anything like us here in the Track team, you've been glued to the screen following the Paris games. The athleticism! The competitiveness! It's viewing gold. We decided to survey consumers to find out if they could accurately recall the sponsors of this year's event without any prompting (AKA, unaided awareness) 👀 The results? In the United States, The Coca-Cola Company won gold, Nike won silver and Visa won bronze. However, Nike is not actually a sponsor of the games 🐸☕ Because Nike affiliates itself with teams and athletes, it seems the brand has pulled off the ultimate heist in ambush marketing – connecting its brand with an event or occasion when it is not an official partner. Check out a deeper analysis by our friends at WARC via the 🔗 in the comments 👇

I talked about the wonderful Bowled & Beautiful campaign from Google Australia in my monthly marketing round up. The newsletter had barley gone live when salon owner Shazza was in touch inviting me over to Bowled & Beautiful for my very own bowl haircut. So many to choose from, I went with the ramekin. Shazza is a real inspiration to entroprenurs everywhere, if she can do it, youse can too. If you have no idea what this is about, you may have missed the newsletter, so you check it out here, where I explain more about this google campaign and why it is a great example of brilliant B2B Marketing: 📰 https://lnkd.in/egxUUBZC #yousecantoo Duncan McGrath Google Google for Startups Dragana (Dana) Markovic Simon Joyce
