🏗️ Breaking new ground towards a #sustainable future. Heidelberg Materials and Linde Europe recently hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for their large-scale CO2 capture plant, using BASF’s advanced OASE® blue technology. Published in 2024, BASF’s factbook highlights our crucial contributions towards reducing ⬇️ CO2 emission within the cement industry. From 2025, around 70,000 metric tons of #CO2 per year will be captured, purified and liquefied at the Lengfurt site in Bavaria. With over 50 years of expertise in #gas treatment, we are proud to be part of this important endeavour alongside our partners, as we all play a vital role in creating a more sustainable future. The use of the special OASE®-based process is open to all companies in the cement industry and other industries where carbon-capture is desired. 🔍Learn more about BASF’s gas treatment technology OASE: https://lnkd.in/deQr9eW 📖Discover the full BASF Factbook here: https://lnkd.in/gFQ2Kf6R Image copyright of Claus Uhlendorf #OASE #carboncapture #cement #sustainability #CO2reduction #BASF
