We believe there’s a lot of potential yet to explore around the use of AI Large Language Models (LLMs) in agriculture. That’s why we’re excited to announce a collaboration with AI company InstaDeep, to help accelerate trait research for farmers with artificial intelligence. InstaDeep’s state-of-the-art language model, AgroNT, is trained on trillions of nucleotides from agriculturally relevant crop species – to interpret the complex language of the genetic code. This technology learns from nature and opens new opportunities to gain insight, and more quickly deliver the traits farmers need to enhance and protect yields. Delivering good quality products to growers on time requires a robust and resilient supply chain that can withstand climate change risks. We’ve entered a partnership with Correntics to leverage its data and AI-driven risk analytics platform, to proactively identify operational vulnerabilities caused by changing climate.
