I joined a Global Team to Build the first home in years by the Paraguay HFH affilliate in a small village in Paraguay on the Argentinian border. We were the (wildly) unskilled labourers to the master masons digging holes, mixing and lugging cement, hammering, cleaning and waterproofing terra cotta tiles with tar - and in the end had the extraordinary experience of being able to support building a house from start to finish in the time we were there, working with the Habitat Family and being at…
