Student Success Specialists may initiate contact with you offering proactive support during your time at NYU if they identify any challenges that could affect your academic progress.  However, all undergraduate students are welcome to schedule meetings for specific questions, occasional check-ins, or ongoing support.

Your second year at NYU marks a significant transition—a moment to delve deeper into your interests and further develop skills to excel. This website is curated for second-year students, offering tailored guides and resources.

Even while taking a leave of absence (LOA), you are a part of the NYU community and have access to resources. Student Success is here to help you make the most of your leave and ease your transition back to NYU.

First- and second-year students receive text messages from Student Success throughout the year, which include crucial reminders, tips, and critical information at the right moment during the academic year. When you text back, someone from the team will personally respond!

Midterm feedback is an opportunity for your professors to give you feedback halfway through the course. Whether you want to improve in a course or further grow in an area where you excel, check out these resources after you receive your midterm feedback.
