NYU only offers scholarships and institutional grants to transfer students in select programs. Transfer students may be eligible to apply for federal or state financial aid. Community College Transfer Opportunity Program
NYU CCTOP is a program that provides scholarship funding and support to community college students at select partner institutions to complete their degree at NYU. Visit the CCTOP website to learn about eligibility and application requirements.
Second Degree Program in Rory Meyers College of Nursing (Accelerated)
Students who have completed a bachelor's in another field can apply for a second degree in nursing at NYU's Rory Meyers School of Nursing.
Gallatin Undergraduate Initiative for Discovery in Education
GUIDE is a mentorship, transition, and scholarship program that prepares high-achieving students at Borough of Manhattan Community College to succeed in rigorous BA-degree liberal arts programs at NYU Gallatin and elsewhere. The program is tailored to students interested in studying social justice.
New York State Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP)
HEOP is an academic and financial aid support program funded by the New York State Education Department in partnership with NYU. HEOP aims to provide access to higher education for low-income New York resident students. Only students transferring from another New York State Education Department (NYSED) opportunity program are eligible for consideration. CAS Pipeline Opportunities for Inter-Collegiate STEM Education
The POISE Program is administered in collaboration with the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). The purpose of the program is to create a pipeline for promising sophomore-standing BMCC students pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering, psychology, and math) related majors.
Private Educational Loans
Private educational loans may be an option subject to credit approval for students who are ineligible for federal aid or for whom federal aid is insufficient. We encourage you to carefully consider your options before choosing to borrow and not to borrow more than you need.
