NYU only offers scholarships and institutional grants to transfer students in select programs. Transfer students may be eligible to apply for federal or state financial aid. To apply for federal or state financial aid as a transfer applicant, please refer to the application and deadline information below. 

Application Forms:  

  • FAFSA - For all U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and eligible non-citizens
  • TAP - NY residents only

Deadlines:  

  • Fall/Summer Applicants: April 15 by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
  • Spring Applicants: November 15 by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

Private Educational Loans

Private educational loans may be an option subject to credit approval for students who are ineligible for federal aid or for whom federal aid is insufficient. We encourage you to carefully consider your options before choosing to borrow and not to borrow more than you need.
