Golfers might be interested to learn about the launch of a development beside the Heritage Golf Course in Killenard, where some of the larger homes will have a balcony that has views out over the course.

The first 15 homes have just been released at Millers Hill with prices starting at €350,000. Construction is due to begin on them next month, with the first properties expected to be ready for occupation by spring 2023.

The scheme is a mix of three and four-bed semi-detached houses, as well as four and five-bed detached homes.

When complete, there will be 79 properties in total but they have been designed with numerous architectural variations to create a more interesting and picturesque development.

Set in the village of Killenard, there is a footpath to the local primary school with shops, pubs and community centre all a short walk away.
