I bought two domains that were both over $3,000 each.

Dan.com made it really easy to use and negotiate with the domain sellers.

Through dan.com I was able to finally buy a domain I been struggling to get for over 10 years!!!

BUYERS/RENTERS BEWARE

BUYERS/RENTERS BEWARE!
The Dan.com company must be a fraudulent operation and they’re using “TrustPilot” illegally on their website. They are trying to sell/lease the domain “boothdoorpetsdeliveryservice.com” which was used fraudulently in October 2023 to scam me out of $500+ to ship 2 Siamese kittens. This shipping company was associated with a scam kitten website that stole $1000 from me on false pretenses thinking I had purchased 2 Siamese kittens. The whole sham operation (kitten sale and shipping) was a major scam!! DON’T TRUST DAN.COM

Errand Boys is great!

I have used Errand Boys twice now and my daughter has used them as well. These guys are fast and efficient and very careful with a move. They even emptied my car for me! Their rates are great too.

Nice and easy

Nice and easy - didn't require more accounts and more passwords, was super simple to follow the process and get the domain transferred.

Be careful when buying and selling at Dan.com
I have purchased the domain name cartradeinsider.com for $750 on Dan.com.
After I transfer money and provide information to receive the domain name, They told me to wait until Monday to process it.
On Monday, Dan announced that the transaction was canceled and did not provide a reason.
I requested a refund upon canceling the transaction and did not receive any response from their support team.

Never do business if: time-critical, love your money

Never, ever, ever engage with purchasing anything through Dan.com and Godaddy.

A week ago, we've purchased domain name and wired payment little over $8k. Week went by, and earlier today, we were informed that domain is not owned by seller anymore AND they can't locate our payment.

Ridiculous thing here is that domain is listed on DAN.com now for $5k. After few email exchanges, they've told us that first payment will be refunded, but we need to make a purchase, again. So at that point, they're holding $8k.

Asking that we get in touch with seller directly since this domain is crucial for our deadline (we were fooled by Trustpilot reviews that transfer should be quick), they've denied - privacy laws, concerns and whatsoever. Okay, let's make another purchase.

After we wired another $5k to them, we were just informed "Our finance and transfer team is out of the office and we can't do a THING before Monday".

Our project deadline is 6/9 (Sunday).

What happened? Dan is effectively holding over $13k of our money in their possession, not giving us domain name, and we now need to make ANOTHER purchase, directly with seller.

I advise you, DO NOT ENGAGE IN DOING BUSINESS WITH DAN.COM, GODADDY.COM OR ANY OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES.

Watch out, scam!

Watch out, scamming website, will buy domain names of new companies and put them up for sale at ridiculous prices. This company will be sued soon enough, can't wait to see the result!

Communication

Communication, in my experience, is this company's biggest asset. They saw this through to the end for me. I am highly relational and somewhat organizationally challenged and with my assistant away on holidays they helped make my Domain transfer efficiently and professionally.

Stay away from this scam comapny.

They steal your domain name by deactivating your payment details (I know because the same payment details have been tied to multiple other domains and none of them had problem renewing). After they steal your domain, they try to charge you $1500+ to get it back, and as soon as you show interest they jack the price up to $3,500+ absolute scam and joke of a business model. No domain name is worth that much in 2024.
