We stopped & sat outside for coffee this morning, when entering the restaurant to pay it quickly became apparent that the staff are more than passionate about the food they serve, so table booked for a 8:30 return. During our 12 day stay in Barcelona this turned out to be the best decision I made (just a shame I found it on our second to last day) the food is superb (& I am not a huge pasta fan, however you will find little bit more than just plain pasta I LOVED IT) & the personal service is the best I have experienced anywhere in the world. The next time I am in Barcelona this in my first call.

There are a million restaurants to choose from in Barcelona, however, I highly recommend you don't leave Barcelona without having tried this restaurant. We happened to walk past it in the morning and there we stopped for a coffee as the tables outside were in the sun. I am glad we did!!
My boyfriend and dad went in to use the facilities and decided to look at the menu, except it was all in Italian so the waiter spoken them through every dish on the menu and they then immediately booked for that evening.
When we returned on the evening we got the exact same treatment, he spoke us through the menu with incredible English. Although not busy as it was New Years Day the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. I could not find a single fault with the menu and as a pasta lover I am safe in saying it is some of the nicest pasta I have ever had!!!! Once our meal was finished the chef came out and asked if we enjoyed it and was smiling like a Cheshire cat when we said we did. To top it all off we were given a shot of home made limoncello!!

If I am ever in Barcelona again, I will be back.

My wife and I were in Barcelona for a short city break and came across La Patsa Lab on our last night.
We were welcomed enthusiastically by the owner when we arrived. The advice was to try the super soft smoked Burrata as a starter. It was spectacular, accompanied by a glass of Valpolicella Zenato.
The main course was one of the best Lasagna I’ve ever tasted. My wife had the Triangoli Baccala. For dessert we had homemade Tiramisu and a beautifully rich dark chocolate Tenerina.
We finished off everything with a glass of creme de limoncello which tasted like liquid cheesecake :)
Service was impeccable and the chef kept an eye on proceedings from his glass fronted preparation area.
Highly rated - nicest restaurant we visited in Barcelona.. well done, keep it up.

A must visit if you're in the city for a weekend break. We couldn't fault this little restaurant in the heart of the l'Eixample area of Barcelona; from the owners and chef who have made sure the experience is as authentic Italian as you are going to get in Spain, to the dishes themselves with the pasta that is all made from scratch in house. The Cheese and Ham Raviolo with Truffle oil and fresh Parmesan was delicious and everything you want in a pasta dish (I'm still dreaming about this now!). My girlfirend ordered the spicy salami pasta dish, that had a fiery kick, rounded with a velvety smooth tomato sauce base. But i've got to the mention the heroes of each of these dishes, the pasta, that I'm sure even an Italian Nonna herself would approve of, and of course cooked to perfection. Don't even get me started on the chocolate cake we ordered for dessert?! Save room for it and thank me later. However, this place would be nothing without the personal touch of the owners, who went out of their way to make sure the meal was one to remember. Would most definitely recommend a visit when in Barcelona.

We were really looking forward to have a great Sunday lunch! the menu looked interesting...
I made a reservation for 2 and got to the restaurant few hours later. To start I’ve ordered a bottle of white wine and when we have received it wasn’t from the fridge so the waiter changed with a chilled one.
When I was ordering the waiter told us that we had one hour sitting and we had to order everything at once. I showed my disappointment and kept enjoying the pasta that was quite good.
Later the waiter came back to say that we could have stayed because he had more tables.
So we ordered the second bottle of wine and went to have a smoke outside.
While we were smoking, the waiter told us that we had to leave the restaurant immediately because he had people waiting.
When we went back to the table the waiter moved all hour stuff aside on a chair.
We still had a full dish on the table and had been taken.
We couldn’t finish to have the lunch and kicked out.
Bad organization, bar service, at the reservation they didn’t advise it was one hour staying and than they told us we could stay we felt in a rush and uncomfortable.

grazie per il tuo commento. A serviti è stato il nostro nuovo cameriere, che era al suo primo giorno di lavoro, e ci dispiace non vi abbia offerto un buon servizio. Purtroppo per via delle nuove restrizioni, tutti i ristoranti siamo costretti ad offrire un servizio rapido (il senso delle restrizioni è proprio quello di ridurre il tempo di permanenza di ogni commensale all'interno dei ristoranti). Sempre telefonicamente avvisiamo ai clienti dei tempi di permanenza, e ci dispiace che ci sia stato un malinteso con voi, e ci torniamo a scusare. Speriamo torniate, cosi da darci la possibilità di dimostrarvi la nostra passione per il nostro lavoro. Vi ringraziamo di essere venuti e di apprezzare la qualità del nostro prodotto. A presto!

Visited for the first time on Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
My partner had the artichoke with truffle mortadella followed by the tagliatelle ragu. I had the bresaola then the macaroni with nduja. All dishes were exceptional!
The service was excellent and we really enjoyed watching the chefs make fresh pasta and gnocchi. The care and attention put into each dish is obvious in the presentation and tasting of the food.

During our family trip we found this amazing restaurant and had possibility to be there twice. All food was prepared with great quality and with love. The service in this place is sooo magnificent!!! Never saw cooks treating their clients with such attention and care so we felt ourselves as at home.

One of the places I would definitely recommend to friends or family who decide to visit Barcelona! First of all, the service. The owner was one of the friendliest people I’ve met here, and his passion to make customers feel happy and at home really shines through. All his recommendations (like the artichoke wrapped in mortadella, ravioli, and tuna filet) were absolutely top notch. Definitely would be back to try their other menu items when I’m back in the city!

The food was good, but the waiters were rude. They messed up our reservation, but had an attitude indicating that it was our mistanke. Then they spent 55 minutes from we arrived until we got our food, and then told us we had to leave half an hour later, stating that a reservation only lasted 1,5 hours.

Am I in Italy, excuse me?!
It feels like as if I am in an Italian restaurant! It tastes exactly like an Italian cuisine.
Esposito- the chef and Co-owner of this location is hospitable, professional and qualitative! You can tell how much he is passionate about his work! What an approach! He has golden hands!
This exact lab- is a bingo place for relax and pleasant pastime. Should you be in search for a soulful atmosphere guided by classical, lounge music, do visit this location! It is made of a unique taste!
Highly recommended! Said by a girl who is not into desserts at all, but this dessert won my heart!
I suggest you to try tiramisu, panna cotta and pistachio!

We visited following great reviews on trip advisor and we weren't dissapointed. Julian was very welcoming and friendly and recommended some lovely dishes after asking what sort of flavours we liked. The pasta was delicious as we're the desserts , and for the standard of food and service that we received, we found the prices surprisingly very reasonable. Would highly recommend

Visited La Pasta Lab, we had high expectations but was disappointed.
First of all the waiter was way to tired to attend to us. It took a long time before he got us the menus, he kept coming back for us to verify if he got our order right. He forgot us when we ordered another bottle of wine, and when it finally came, he just put it on the table without opening it for us, so we had to wait for him to come by again, so that we could get it opened.
We also ordered Parmesan, but it took 15 minutes before we got it, so our food got cold when he finally came with it. He apologized with “sorry I’m very tired”. When it was time to pay, he asked for tips before giving us the bill…
The food was okay, but only okay. I will NOT recommend the “Passatelli con salsa di parmigiano tartufato e nocciole tostate” (which is recommended by the Chef) as the pasta is very chewy and the sauce is tasteless… then the “
Maccheroni alla Rossanese (con ragú di vitello sfilettato con 6 ore di cottura in due tempi in pentola di terracotta)” is a better choice, as the pasta is way better.
I regularly go to Barcelona and I’m sorry to say that I don’t think I will come here again - maybe if the waiter gets more sleep… but then again, there are many good pasta places in Barcelona and it’s sad to waste a beautiful night at this place

This place is great, if a little pricey.
Inside has a nice vibe and service is friendly, with a smile. To start, I ordered the smoked burrata (fab) and my wife the bresaola (v good). For pasta, my wife had the tagliatelle with black truffle - very delicate. I had the rossanese, which was phenomenal. Great pasta, really nice slow cooked tomato sauce with meat, made me think of my grandmother. Shared a bottle of falanghina, which was excellent.
We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, a bottle of wine and water and the bill came to 75 euros.
I’d go again for sure, we sat above the kitchen and watched all the amazing pastas come out and the gnocchi and gnudi are on our list!

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere amazing, with friendly people working there. You don’t have to wait long for the food and if you don’t know what to order (because a lot of things sound really good on the menu) you can ask the waiter what he thinks it’s best. I letted him decide for me what to eat and it was the best decision. I would definitely come here the next time I visit Barcelona.
Ps: order the vegan Panacotta even if you are not vegan:))
