I booked this hotel mainly for the room size. After looking through tons of listings, I found that the rooms at the Lugaris were double that of the average Barcelona hotel room. Since I was staying for a whole week, I didn't want to be cramped. I found the room to be perfect and love the way the bedroom and sitting room were separated by a sliding wall. The bathroom was a great size too, and the whole place was sparkling clean. This place is actually advertised as apartments, not a hotel, which didn't bother me at all. I'm not the type who needs a maid coming every day and I like having my own kitchen so I can go to the grocery store and cook for myself. The bed is ridiculously comfortable and the internet works great. Every single staff member was really helpful. In fact, when I arrived early before the reception opened, I was taken to the back office and given some hot tea. The location is right on the beach for people who want to go for a stroll and it's also an easy walk to PobleNou station, and just a bit further to Diagonal where you'll find the Glorias shopping complex. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Really enjoyed our short stay at Lugaris , 10 min from the metro had my iPhone taken out of my pocket . They handed the phone back saying it was to old 😂.
All the staff were very professional,booking in was easy about a 200 meters from the beach. Coming back in December for some shopping. 10 min walk to a nice avenue plea to of bars and cafe and shops

The appartement was near the sea, it was clean and has high comfort (TV, washing machine, good kitchen,.. ) and very gently employers :-) :-). We enjoyed our stage very much, even that you can go to the sea in two minutes. You have a supermarket near the Appartement and also you can walk to the metrostation in 8 minutes. So we would love to come back.

We stayed in a business superior apartment, which was spacious and very clean. Although open plan you could slide the doors shut to close off the bedroom. We had a good size bathroom with a bath and shower over the top however I did buy a cheap bath mat as felt a little unsafe standing under the shower. Amenities as advertised. Plenty of plug sockets in the bedroom including one by a large mirror which is always a big bonus when drying her hair! However did feel the kitchen could have done with a few more sockets. Never seen so many wardrobes and cupboards. The reception staff were efficient at checking in, showed us the apartment and a link via what's app was established should we require any assistance or we could visit their office. For us it was a great location by the sea and near to lots of restaurants however it maybe a bit far for some people, just over a mile to the hop on hop off bus, 2 miles to La Sagrada Familia but it is all flat and there are lots of taxis if unable to walk. Overall excellent apartment and would certainly stay again

We rented a two bedroom apartment. It was exactly what we needed for 4 adults with a medium sized sitting and dining room, kitchenette, two bathrooms and a laundry. The apartment was in almost new condition and cleanly presented. Although Barcelona was hot, the air conditioning coped easily with the heat. It was only about 4km from the city centre of Barcelona and a 10 minute walk to the train station with a bus to the city in front of the apartment.
The location was beautiful, just 5 minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes drive from the airport. The were several restaurants within 5 minutes walk and supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. The reception staff were knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. The next time I visit Barcelona, I would definitely stay here again.
The only negatives were the small pool on the rooftop which was often too crowded for the size and the English channels on our tv didn't seem to work.

Lugaris Beach is a wonderful residence enjoying a great position next to the beach.
It is in front of the beach and very close to the center of the trendy Poblenou neighborhood. Close to supermarkets, pharmacies and shops and you only need a ten minute walk to the closest metro station.
The staff was always very nice and friendly and helpful.
The apartment looks wonderful, very modern and clean it has everything you need. We also enjoyed a welcome back with basics for the kitchen.
We were upgraded to a family apartment which enjoyed two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The residence also has a rooftop pool.
I would highly recommend staying here, it’s a great place for enjoying holidays in Barcelona as well as for longer stays.

Fantastic stay at an amazing location!
Very warm welcome. Spacious and amazingly clean apartment with nice views- big windows letting a lot of sunlight in (very much appreciated in wintertime)
Location is so nice, very authentic, full with nice shops and groceries (Ametller Origen).
Close to the beach and bus that stops infront of the apartment brings you to the center in 20 min. And runs every 5 min.

We enjoyed a 4 night break from 20th Jan. On arrival we found that we had been upgraded to a larger apartment and it was great. Lovely and clean, loads of kitchen equipment for cooking and good facilities.
The apartments are a two minute walk from the beach, a ten minute walk from a metro station and a five minute walk from two or three supermarkets. It’s also very close to the Poblenou Rambla with a range of bars and restaurants.
The staff very very friendly, helpful and made the trip pleasant. We would definitely return.

We had an amazing long weekend in Barcelona and staying at Lugaris was mostly the reason. First of all we were upgraded to a bigger apartment which was very much appreciated. The decoration was modern and we had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
We arrived late so a security guy let us in. The next day we checked in at the reception with the help of the most helpful and friendly receptionist I've ever met, Rafael (Rafa). He was so attentive, funny and made us feel like home. He also gave us free beach towels for the beach that is only 5 minutes away.
The location is just amazing! Away from tourist traps, one block away from the Rambla de Poble Nou where lots of locals enjoy life as they should. Beautiful cafes, bars and restaurants with amazing local food were all there. The atmosphere was so authentic that it didn't remind me at all the touristy Placa de Catalunya. This was our second time in Barcelona, so we had seen all the touristy things. However, there are metro stations and a bus stop right outside if you want to go to the center. We chose for Poble Nou, which has lots of restaurants, plenty of beach bars and lots of people enjoying drinks with friends at the beach. All in all, if you want to enjoy the real Barcelona, in a luxury apartment with great staff, look no further! We will definitely come back!

We booked a room for a week. The rooms are correct but the staff is absolutely not professional and the swimming pool is tiny and crowded. The reception is never open and it is possible to contact the hotel on wathsap only from 10h00 to 15h00. When they want to answer well. There is no service to keep luggage for your last day of travel. So if you have a flight back in late afternoon or to thé night. Your day will be ruined. After insisting by phone to try to find a solution with the hotel staff. The lady you called told us that no one was available to keep our luggage at the reception and that we had to leave at 12:00 but that she was going to call us back to see if anyone was available. This person was very annoyed on the phone and of course she never called us back. At 12:00 we leave the hotel and we receive a text from the hotel at 13:30 to tell us that finally there will be a person available from 14:00 to 18:00. It was obviously too late because we could not wait 1h30 in full sun with our luggage. It is still the height for a hotel not to know the opening hours of their reception on D day. In short, pass your way.

Yes there is a washer and dryer in one machine. They usually have drying racks in each apartment which I prefer. The washer can only handle about 3 kilos of laundry. If you use the dryer it’s a very long process. If you just wash and dry on rack you can keep up on it. Good luck!
Lugaris can work depending on apartment selection. It’s just fine at Lugaris. It’s across from the beach and easy access to transportation. It’s European size but definitely not nasty.
It’s a safe neighborhood for kids. In fact I think it’s just right. The staff is great!
