In this sense, the rooms are cosy, the beds comfortable, and we provide eiderdowns in winter months, and fresh cotton sheets for the summer ones. To transmit a feeling of harmony, light colours predominate in all our rooms. The rooms are equipped with television, air conditioning and heating. Great spot in a great neighborhood. Mercedes was there to greet us when we checked in, showed us the app to use for keyless entry, and provided free beach towels for the beach (just 2 blocks away). We’ll definitely be staying here again if we go back to poblenou

A chilled, calm and beautiful b&b. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculate and stylish. Our room was on the front and the road was a little noisy but the complimentary ear plugs did the trick. We slept well every night. The breakfasts were spectacular. A great choice and freshly prepared every day. Location was great, plenty of restaurants and minutes away from the beach. We loved staying here. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful 5 days at hostal poblenou. Such friendly helpful staff , freshly made breakfast on a beautiful terrace each morning , free safety deposit box, beach towels , water, coffee and tea all day . Lovely clean bright room , location amazing and beautiful with a tree lined avenue full of restaurants and cafes right from the door and lovely sandy beach literally a few minutes walk . Barcelona City centre is 5 minutes in a taxi or a walk along the promenade . Cannot rate this bnb and location highly enough , from a very discerning traveller!! Just perfect

Such a wonderful experience. The B&B looks great, especially the breakfast terrace. Great location, not in the center but super close to the beach (5min walk) and local restaurants in Poblenou. By bike or with public transport you can easily reach the center.
Mercedes is the loveliest host, so helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was incredible. Tasty, lots to choose from and very fresh. The cooks were so friendly as well.
Every day they come to tidy the room. You can always reach Mercedes if you have any questions.

Welcoming hostal, 3-minute walk from the beach. Very friendly owners who made us feel right at home. Large airy room with a double bed and extra bed for our son. Lots of good storage. We had an internal room overlooking the terrace, which would be nice in warmer weather. Delicious freshly made breakfast that you order one day in advance. Lost of choice: pancakes, avocado on toast, smoothies, eggs and bacon etc. The area makes you feel like you are Spanish and not a tourist. Lots of great bars, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. A great alternative to the city centre and easy to reach by bus or metro. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed this bed and breakfast. Quiet location and kind and helpful staff, good breakfast! This neighbourhood might not be the most central to attractions, but one bus ride was usually all it took to get somewhere. I found the bus clean, frequent, and safe. What you get in return is sleeping in a neighbourhood that quiets down at night, and it has a nice, “local” feel to return to after a day of exploring the city. Great restaurants and shopping. Also a market. If you like slick, keyless entry and elevators, this hotel might not be for you, but if you like charm, a good night’s sleep, services nearby, and the advantage of staying close to Bogatell Beach ( nice just to take a coffee to and look), I highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be sorry!

We have had such a good time in Hostal Poblenou! I am from Barcelona and currently living abroad. To visit my city and family, this has been the perfect place to stay with my partner: cozy building and room, perfect location, lovely attention/service. Even in this hard time, we had a very nice stay and the owner did her best to make us feel at home. A pitty breakfast is not available due to covid measures, however there are lots of options around! I will definitely repeat in my next visit to Barcelona and/or recommend it to friends. Thanks Merce!

Firstly the owner is delightful. Very friendly and helpful with everything from booking a taxi and sorting out a parking ticket that we received which took ages to access the right person/dept to pay. She is very warm and welcoming. The hotel was full of charm and true spanish style. Clean. Comfortable. In the centre for everything shops and beach and the metro and bus but being very quiet too. We loved it and we will be booking again next year.

This was a quaint and charming gem. Fabulous hearty breakfast with vegan options too. I had the best avocado toast there. There was a lovely outdoor terrace to enjoy breakfast or tea and coffee most of the day. My room had high ceilings and a very comfy bed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in pointing out things to do and how to get there. The neighborhood was great too. Tons of restaurants and shops and nice to see somewhere aside from or in addition to Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. I would stay there again for sure!
