Worth booking the guided tour to see inside this beautiful building. Great views across to the Supreme Court and congress building from inside.

The Palace reserved for Brazil's presdent is another masterpiece by architect Oscar Niemeyer and great to look at with its unusual pillars that surround the square building with plenty of glass. The entrance above a ramp is protected by two ceremonial guards in a blue and white traditional uniform. A reflecting pool has been built by the Palace, not part of the original plan

The name of the building refers to the highland ('planalto' in Portuguese), where Brasilia is located.

Wow, what a design. One of the most symbolic and important buildings of Brazilian democracy in Brasilia-DF, Brazil.

yes .... every story of the world architecture of Oscar Niemeyer is portrayed in the buildings of Brasilia .... a lot of creativity and a lot of iron and cement

This is in the centre of Brasilia along with all the government building

This one stands out with the "chocolate box soldiers" in their quaint uniforms juxtaposed against the concrete building. Quite a contrast

Go for the view and architectural experience. Although you can not visit the inner building, the view and architecture is very interesting. Also, the sunset there is very nice as it "lights" the building up in beautiful colours.
