An interesting visit to the seat of power which also houses some very beautiful works of art. Be sure to book in advance as numbers are limited.

My Portuguese is not all that great and the tour was in Portuguese, so I didn't understand much. I just followed the tour group. However, the tour is free and the building is very impressive, inside and out.

An icon of modern architecture, if there is just one building to see when in Brasilia, then this is it. On a Saturday when we visited we were allowed in and given free post cards to write which can be sent all over the world - what a nice touch. There were guided tours in Portuguese and English, preceded by a short and fascinating video about the history. The tour itself allowed us to see both debating chambers as well as take photos. There is a small museum as well. All free and very informative.

Well worth the (free) tour to see inside both chambers. After the official tour we were allowed to wander inside the building to see a real working parliament in action.

Having worked there for almost a year, I had the chance to visit the Brazilian Congress from inside out, specially the backstage of the legislative and political daily activities, where more lively debates take place.
There is a guided tour which walks you through the premises, with knowledgeable guides, able to deep dive your experience into the historical aspects of this great piece of the well known creative Brazilian architecture Oscar Niemeyer.
It's worth a visit if you are in Brasilia for a while. The building is at the end of the major axe that characterizes the central urban plan and it's surrounded by the Supreme Court, the line up of the ministerial buildings and the Presidential Palace.
