My wife and I just returned and for a Cuban resort this is definitely a 5 star. It’s a smaller resort which we loved as there was less walking, and you were able to meet so many people to enjoy. I highly recommend Diamond club as the boys at the private bar and food will look right after you. The beach was amazing, much nicer than any we have seen in Mexico or the DR. Our honeymoon was in St Lucia and this beach was nicer. You will not have an issue finding a lounger at the pool or the beach as they have guys there to set them up for you when you arrive. The drinks were great on the beach but there was only beer, tequila and rum which we were fine with. Beans cafe is a really nice spot for a coffee or ice cream and Yusmilba is fabulous. Made us the best Spanish coffees and cappuccinos we have ever had and was so pleasant to get away from the busy pool bar. This is a great resort for over 30 year old couples. If you are young and want to party this is not the place. You will still have fun if you come in a group but there isn’t much nightly entertainment and most people are over 35. Many older returning people which is great to see as well. I highly recommend any room between 3201 to 4302. These are close to the beach bungalows and have outdoor showers and indoor showers. They are all renovated as well. If you want hot water I recommend trying the cold setting in the shower. If you want more water or beer each day make sure you empty it. If you need a new beach towel simply bring it the the beach club guy at the pool. Many of these poor reviews are because people did not know. The a la cartes can be hit and miss, one night there were options beef, chicken, fish and the other night it was just fish so some were upset by this which I understand. As for tipping simply tip in American bills or Canadian bills. No need to exchange. We didn’t take it but many people recommended the catamaran as well as the moped rentals. As for distance to the airport it’s about 15 or so minutes in a very nice bus and you can buy beer. We wish there would have been some more nightly entertainment as they do have a beautiful stage area but it was mainly just one guy who was great and vacationers dancing on stage. I must admit it included me a couple times as well haha. We will definitely be back. I would not get a room facing the lake, I would get the ones close to the beach or facing the pool or lagoon. The pool is loud though, music all day. The bungalows by the beach again are super nice and great location. Wifi only works in the lobby but it works great there with no issues. Again we highly recommend this resort for the over 35 couples or small groups, family crowds.

I’m on here to write this review about a property that I have come to love and frequent very often.

This year for example I’ve stayed at Memories Flamenco Beach Resort for four magnificent months.

I’ve been to all the hotels around Cayo Coco Cuba but the one that stands out from the rest has always made me come back to Memories Flamenco Beach Resort.

This is a hotel that the name speaks for itself I’ve always had some of the best memories that happened to me here.

Alba the manager treats me like a king and all the other guests, the food is amazing for Cuban standards and the hospitality is fantastic.

Cuban people are amongst the best and warmest hosts in the world so to Alba the manager of Memories Flamenco Beach Resort and all the rest of her amazing staff…kudos!… Alba, you are simply the best!

My wife and I just returned from a 2 week vacation in April/2022.. The weather was nice and warm, a little windy, but fantastic otherwise.

I had planned to renew our wedding vows on our 36th Anniversary as a surprise for my wife.
With the help of the wonderful staff, aff at the resort, managed to pull it off, on the beach and she said yes.
All of this ceremony was made possible and mostly planned by the wonderful Ladies of Memories Caribe.
A specia table and dinner was set up for us at the Mediterranean restaurant with champagne and a fantastic meal.

My heart and a special gratitude go out to so many of the staff. Ileiny Padrón,Tahimis Labrada Gutiérrez, all the ladies in public relations and customer service, I can not thank yous enough, Zuzel Garcia, Susel Calvo, and so many others. My live to yous always.

Now, about the resort itself.. The accommodations are great, the beach is amazing. We ate well every night between 3 special dinners and the buffet, the food was probably the best we,ve had so far in Cuba.

And the service, omg, was above and beyond. We have made so many new friends and connected with some old friends that we ve met before.

This is a smaller resort so meeting and making new friends is very easy because of the laid-back atmosphere.

From the receptionists to the wait staff to the maids and gardeners, cleaners and the rest of the staff, everyone is friendly and helpful.

I will say that we,ve been to Cuba 11 or 12 times now and by far, this is our favorite, so much so that we are going back in June.
