We rented one cottage for 2 families, 3 people each, The cottage intended for 6 people, it has 2 bedrooms with a double bed each, but it also had a sofa bed in the living room that was very comfortable for our girls. The cottage looks freshly renovated and much better than its pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, no AC.
The only problem, our cottage had only 3 wooden chairs around the table and 2 more plastic chairs at the porch. When I asked for an additional chair, doesn’t matter plastic or wooden, the lady at the store/reception told me that they didn’t not have any, so we had to move the table to the sofa to sit everybody. We also didn’t get the second key.
Kitchen is super small, the table into which the sink was built had no space for drying rack or anything, you could not even put a plate next to the sink. When we washed the dishes, we had to place them on the other side of the room, where there was some place, next to microwave. Drying rack would be a nice addition. But again for 2 nights it was OK. The soundproofing is not very good, we could hear people in the next room very well.
The location is also very convenient. We walked to Playhouse, Beggars Banquet and Lobster kettle. The grocery store is on site. We did a lot of driving in previous days, so it was nice to leave the car and walk in the evening to dinner and concert.
