Stayed here for two nights and have no complaints. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at checkin was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Breakfast in the morning had lots of variety. I was impressed with the real eggs. I already booked my stay here for my next trip to Sydney.

Lovely clean hotel, 3 levels of rooms central location in Sydney. Good size room with comfy beds & lots of pillows. Friendly staff, I liked that they locked the front door @ 10pm, making me feel very safe. TV & phone in room. Pet friendly rooms.

My friend booked this through the 3rd party app as I don't have a cell phone with all the bells and whistles. The location was not too bad but you needed your car to get around. I spent 3 nights here. I could not get a receipt upon check out as it was booked through the 3rd party thing and as of this writing I still have not got a receipt to see what the damage was. Upon checking out, I met with the manager who was cutting the grass and he told me because of the way the hotel was booked I will be generously over paying for the room. I told him if I had know the room was only 3 miles from my friends place I would have just drove here. Not knowing the area certainly changes things. This time of the year in the summer months most of these hotel chains charge way too much. Here you get the continental breakfast from 6am to 9am. so you wont be able to sleep in here. I told the front desk clerk that cutting off breakfast at 9am is a bit early. She said on the weekends they expand it to 10am. Not a bad place. I don't think I would be back as there are others in red area and I may check them out if I head back to Nova Scotia.

Our visit got off to a poor start when the check-in clerk suggested that I park on the same side of the motel as our room "so you can keep an eye on your car." Fortunately, the car came through the visit undisturbed. The clerk then informed us that (a) they do not offer housekeeping services (we were staying three nights) and (b) they did offer breakfast, but guests had to come to the lobby and then take the food to their room to eat. I am not sure if these were intended as Covid measures, but we stayed in five different properties on our visit to Nova Scotia and this was the only one to have these restrictions in place. Bathtub tap dripped constantly and tub drained very slowly.

Lovely little hotel. First impression was of a slightly shabby place so my expectations were pessimistic, but how wrong was I. The front desk staff are amazing, so helpful. The place is spotless. Our room (double Queen) is huge, with a patio sliding door to the outside and a fridge and microwave. Water pressure is fab, loads of hot water. Definitely will use them again.

Stayed in Oct. The web site stated $180 and when we checked in and the bill was slid under the door in the morning it was $70 more. When I went to find out why was told prices change daily. On how high the demand is. This should not be allowed. How is it we are all getting ripped off on a regular bases.

My children and I checked in to Comfort Inn Sydney a day after Christmas, overwhelmed, tired from travelling for 48hours and confused, it was our first time in Canada and we had no one here, the staff were very helpful and friendly, they helped us in searching for our own accomodation to how to get around Cape Breton Island with three kids. Neat,family friendly environment and the home made breakfast was amazing. To the staff at Comfort Inn, you might not realized how helpful you were, when we needed it most. So thank you.

The room was dirty, feces in the toilet bowl, not sure when the last time was the room saw and vacuum and it had a horrible smell. The bed was very uncomfortable and it was way over priced. I definitely know where I will not stay again

Clean, large room with all the amenities you need. Good location along King Street, short drive to downtown. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast you pick up and take to your room. Coffee & tea always available.
You can drive up to your room but it doesn’t do much good as they’re no keypads on the patio door to come in & no way to lock it on your way out.
No other luxuries at the hotel like a gym, pool, on site restaurant, etc.

Great breakfast choices included, quiet, safe, view of water from room, free parking right by room door-convenient, staff were helpful. Bathroom was clean; but, very small counter by sink. Had a dehumidifier running in the room. Small breakfast area; but, it worked. Would stay here again.

The deposit is held only until check out...held just in case there is damage to the room, etc. Credit card number is on file only to secure the reservation. When paying you can pay by cash or any method you choose.
Yes, it is very good. The ladies that work in the breakfast area are very nice and helpful also.
