Worst place in Tampa. Avoid at all costs. Disgusting in every single way. Not at all as advertised. In a state of disrepair. Everything is rusted and broken. Unbelievably expensive for what can only be described as poverty accommodation. Left my stay half way through as I couldn't stomach it any longer.
Dumpy, unsafe and neglected. The pictures they present are not a true depiction of the “resort”. Way overpriced and very disappointing. Keep looking, book somewhere else. This is no resort, only thing good was the location.
The only positive thing I can say about this resort is that the location is really nice. Our room, #34, was awful. There was paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom. The toilet never stopped running. It took 10 minutes for the hot water to come in the shower. The outside of the dishwasher was rusted. The couch and chair in the sitting area of the room was so filthy that we didn’t dare sit on it. I wish I had taken pictures. This place is a dump and the fact that they are charging almost $200 a night is criminal. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to stay somewhere else.
We have to leave the motel first night.
Because the whole bed was full of somekind of small worms and flies. And there was a roach on the floor.
It was awful and disgusting.
The motel was very dated and it was not clean, it was black around the tap in the bathroom.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!
We (me and my 10 yr old) arrived after "office hours" and found all our PERSONAL info out in the open so anyone could access it. The room had a keypad lock that probably never was changed so who knows how safe.
Got to the room and it was FILTHY. Dirty floors, no curtains on the windows, rusted fixtures. The "kitchen" was a mini fridge and 2 burner cooktop with tin foil under the burners. The bathroom was 1950s pink tile with walk in shower. The floor was wet from a leak somewhere that caused puddling and everything was rusty. The weirdest part was the 3 access doors, including one in the bathroom. I could not tell if any of these locked so I spent the first night not sleeping out of fear.
The next morning we decided to check out the pools. Once again, filthy. Overfull with no chlorine. The beach access was nice though. We went back to the room to try to clean up and discovered we had no hot water. That was the last straw for me. No one in the office during "office hours" and no answer on the after hours phone number. I made the decision after approximately 12 hours in hell to leave the "resort" and book elsewhere. Contacted hotels.com for help and they weren't able to contact anyone at the resort either. I'm in the process of attempting to get a refund as this was GROSSLY misrepresented. I can deal with older properties but not run down unsafe filthy properties that charge $200/night for something that should have been condemned. RUN FAR AWAY!!!
