Great stay, short on time, but max Disney experience

Reviewed Oct 12, 2022
Disney's All Star Music was a great value for money option for us. We only stayed for 3 nights before a cruise. We wanted to stay on site at WDW to really maximize the time that we had. Knowing we weren't going to be using on-site resort facilities much we chose the All Star Music due to the lower room rates. We also selected this resort due to the updated rooms.
We were in a preferred room and was allocated a room in the Jazz building which was just a short walk to the reception, food court and bus stops.
The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a quick stay. The coffee maker was appreciated for the early mornings as took full advantage of the extra half an hour in the parks.
The buses were very frequent, and we did notice that extra buses came outside the "scheduled" times during busy periods. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes to go or come back from any of the WDW Parks or Disney Springs area.
We hadn't visited WDW for 5+ years and took our old Magic Bands with us - pleasantly surprised to find out they could still be linked to our account and used for this trip. Loved the ease of the band being our room key, a way to pay and theme park ticket all in one.
We used Disney Genie+ add on for both days of our visiting the parks and felt this was a great advantage for such a short stay, during a busy time. We would really recommend this for those short on time. We did all 4 parks in 2 days and managed a lot of attractions.
I would highly recommend Disney All Star Music to those on a budget and short on time for WDW holiday.

We really enjoyed this place! We stayed for a total of 4 nights in building 4. When you first get there you check in in the lobby, then walk outside to get to your building. Everything is kept very clean and tidy. It's a bit of a walk to get to the buildings in the back, but we survived. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfy and the pillows were great. The food in the cafeteria was average and a little pricey but that's to be expected in Disney. The bus system was easy to understand and if you have any questions at all, everyone who works there is so friendly and willing to help. There was an arcade on site and a store with Disney items. Two pools outside were nice and clean. All in all, a good experience!

It was a good budget hotel. The vibe is good, the bus ride to the parks is long especially after a long day in the parks. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The pool was enjoyable for the kids and clean which is important to me. The staff were all friendly.

The perfect location for your Disney holiday, with free shuttle transport to all major Disney locations, closest parks from the resort are Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It is about 25 minutes to Magic Kingdom but hey, the shuttle is included!

Rooms were a bit basic and so was the food court but after a day at the parks, that's all you need, and it is just a base at the end of the day.

An Uber to Universal varies from around $21-40 depending on the time you book.

Close to the outlets too, this was around $15-25 for an Uber!

Room tip: The further back in the resort you are, the quieter it is, we were in the Rock Inn and it was spot on.

Great hotel. Plenty of space for our family of 5. 2 bathrooms, 3 beds and a full size kitchen. Very clean property. Did not use the pool area, but the lobby was really nice. The only thing is that the buses take a long time to come to the hotel as well as pick you up from the parks. Otherwise, as always Disney was an amazing experience.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel cast members always very pleasant and helpful. Resort was very clean and the clean up after hurricane Ian was very quick. Transport to the parks was fantastic.
Couple of things I would highlight
First I don’t think our bedding was changed the whole time we were there.
Secondly when it came to check out day which we had till 11am to do so we had house keeping roaming around from 9:15 which did make us feel a little rushed and uncomfortable.
Thirdly I don’t think anyone had sweep under the bed in months.
