Disney's All-Star Music Resort is celebrated for its cleanliness and modern amenities, though opinions on room space and upkeep do vary. Its prime location garners compliments for being safe and family-friendly, offering a serene atmosphere. The service at the hotel is mostly lauded for its helpful staff, though some guests have encountered slow service. While the resort is deemed a good value, a few visitors mention pricy extras. The lively music-themed decor is a hit, contributing to the resort's charming ambiance, and while amenities are generally well-received, there's room for improvement in the food court area.

We stayed in the family suite, and it was great! It is plenty of room at a great rate. We had looked at some of the Disney Springs hotels. but once the resort fees are added in, the prices were comparable. The murphy bed was easy to take down and put away. My son was able to do it unassisted. Having two full bathrooms available decreased our morning prep time to get out and going. The kitchen area had paper towels, and plastic kitchen utensils but no dishes, but we brought paper with us. Housekeeping comes in every other day.

My experience at this resort was outstanding .Above and beyond which it should be at Disney . The staff at this resort (especially housekeeping)should give the other resorts some lessons . A level of courtesy you would not expect to find at a value resort which was exceptional . The room was very clean , smelled great , and offered all the ammenties one could need( shampoo, condioner, body wash included)except a microwave 😹.The price of this resort is a little high but I believe that keeps the creeps away which is nice . I also want to express hows this resort keeps one immersed in the magic . Along with the extraordinary larger than life props there is also music and color . One thing I was really impressed about was not seeing one pest or bug on the property . Even around the lights at night no bugs or insects flying around . I am dissapointed I did not see any alligators 🐊 though . Oh swell . I would like to see the skyliner come to the resort in the future even though the buses come often which is good . The gift shop has a great selection and parking is plentiful . I strongly recommend this property for your perfect Disney experience !

I can’t tell you how happy I am your visit to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort hit all the right notes! From start to finish, your time in the recording studio was highlighted by constant music, brilliant color and of course, our magical Cast Members. I’m thrilled our Housekeeping team made such a positive impression on your stay – I’m sure they’ll be honored to hear your kind words. Thanks for sharing a review and some photos that display the different octaves of our stay. Until next time! Emma Disney Social Reviews

The facilities of this hotel make your stay great, even if you only go to sleep. !!! This hotel has quite comfortable rooms, with all the basics and helps you have a restful sleep after a hectic day in the parks of Disney World.

The staff do their best to be diligent and agile at check-in, we had a drawback that the rooms were not ready when we arrived and we had to wait until approximately 5.00pm. The rooms have two king beds, which are comfortable, the bathroom is equipped with everything you need. Something that I loved was the soaps and shampoo, WOW, they smell delicious and they really help you relax after having a great day in the parks.

I stayed in the Rock N 'Roll building, the pools are super cool and allow you to relax.

The food court has what it takes to avoid hunger, a McDonalds is nearby, remember that everything is expensive at Disney hahahahahaha.

A great experience, I hope to return soon !!!

The music resort is very far away from the bus stops to the park and their is no clear path. When we stayed their was construction and it looked dirty. In addition, they offered us a $20 dollar credit to no have no housekeeping service during our stay, but when we needed fresh towels, soap, toilet paper, and other things we had to call the desk and give them a specific amount of the items needed. I did not like it at on the next day felt it was we was better to have house keeping service our room and forfeit the $20 dollars. Furthermore we were charged parking for each night. We not stay at this Disney resort again as I did not see the value of staying at this value resort.

I’m so sorry to read your recent stay with us at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort wasn’t the billboard worthy stay you were looking forward to. While you are absolutely correct this Resort is currently in the process of being enhanced, we want all our Guests to enjoy their visits, so I sincerely apologize we seemed to miss the mark during your visit. I want to thank you for sharing how this detracted from your enjoyment throughout the Resort. It’s also disheartening to hear the new Service Your Way did not work well for your family. While this service does give you the option to opt-out of daily housekeeping and still request additional items throughout your stay, I can understand the frustration of requesting new items daily. Please know I’ve shared your experience and observations with the Resort Leadership team. I appreciate you stopping by to share this honest review with us. We hope to get another opportunity to welcome you back to the Walt Disney World Resort for a more memorable stay in the near future. Zoey Disney Social Reviews

One of the reasons I always stay on Disney property is because of the cleanliness factor. They are ALWAYS 100% with the cleanliness and that’s probably the most important for me. We chose All Stars Music as we decided to head down for our vacation a day early and this was literally the only resort that had two vacant rooms. We only stayed for one night while waiting for our other reservation to start. The biggest draw back here is parking. The parking lot is way too small and very far from the rooms. Traveling with two handicapped people made this less than ideal but we managed. The front desk staff was stellar and helped us find two rooms that were nearby each other, which was quite the feat being that we were there during the busiest week of the year, Christmas/New Years. The rooms are outdated but surprisingly still in very good shape. They remind me of classic 70’s style motel/hotels at the Jersey shore. BUT not one speck of dust or dirt in the place and smelled very clean to boot. We didn’t have much time to use any of the facilities but the pool did look really cute and our family probably would have enjoyed a longer stay there. We would return again for a night or two but generally we opt for resorts on the monorail or across the pond from MK. Transportation is always kind of slow on Disney property so for us it’s important to be as close as possible to the parks. I wouldn’t recommend for people who are walking impaired as getting around the resort you would have to walk a decent amount if you’re in one of the farther back buildings as we were.

Though you were only with us at Disney's All-Star Music Resort for one night, it sounds like you and your family had a harmonious stay! I'm sorry to hear you encountered some challenges with transportation, but glad that our Front Desk Cast Members were able to assist in finding rooms located near each other. If you do decide to stay here again, I'd recommend speaking with them about any mobility concerns you may have during check-in. They will be happy to provide you with recommendations for the best way to get to your room! While you were pleased with the cleanliness of your accommodations, it may interest you to know that we're in the process of reimagining the rooms here! It brings a fresh update to this star-studded Resort. You'll have to come back in the future and check it out! Thanks for stopping by to share your review! No matter where you stay next, we can't wait to welcome you back for another wonderful visit. Liz Disney Social Reviews

My girlfriend and I stayed 6 nights during the 1st full week of November. We arrived the day after the Food & Wine Festival Half Marathon. We stayed in one of the buildings of the Rock Inn a literal stone's throw from the grand piano shaped pool towards the back of the grounds and only a short walk from the parking lot where we parked. My girlfriend is blind & has some mobility issues. The first 2 days we visited theme parks, she pointed out that it was taking us an hour to walk the literal 3 city blocks from our room to the main building to catch a bus so we decided to make the 5 minute walk to the parking lot & drive to the parks the other 3 days we were there.

One of the buildings of the Calypso Inn was closed while the rooms were being remodeled. I could see that electrical work was being done as well as drywall work and could hear jackhammers & tile saws being used.

My last stay had been in 2002 and I was happy to see that each of the All-Star Resorts now has it's own bus to the parks rather than one bus picking up at all 3 resorts (or filling up at 1 or 2) before heading to the parks.

As always, the cast members at the front desk, the gift shop & food court and the mousekeeping staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even with the large number of families staying there, it was still pretty quiet and peaceful.

If you drive and either you or someone in your party has a handicap parking permit, let the front desk know at check in and keep an eye on your charges as $12.50/day is charged for parking at the resorts and you may be charged for parking when you're not supposed to be. The good news is that if you decide to drive to the theme parks, you don't have to pay there, too or on top of the parking fee for the resort. One advantage to driving to the parks yourself is that you drop someone with mobility problems closer to the gate than where the buses let you off at then park. The parking spaces for the handicapped are often closer to the gate than the bus stops at the parks.

Over the last few years we have stayed in all 3 of the ‘All Star’ hotels (music, sport and movies). This time we chose Music purely on price. There is a renovation underway of some rooms as they are a little tired but to be honest great value and you aren’t in them much! All hotels are very similar with the only difference being styling depending on the theme.

Rooms are fairly small but 2 double beds, and room to move about if you keep things tidy. Limited hanging space and no coffee machine but you can choose next class up hotel for that. Decent swimming pools (kids and more adult one) and you can now get a cleaning credit if you don’t mind the room not being cleaned (we got an $80 card due to our length of stay) and you just call up to get bins emptied or fresh towels. Fine for us to be honest. We were staying for the Disney marathon run events so as above didnt spend too much time in the room.

Probably worth buying the refillable disney coffee mug if you are staying longer as you can just walk up to the restaurant and refill anytime you like. The McDonald’s on the doorstep is currently closed for refurbished (read complete rebuild).

Check in is always a little slow. Otherwise service can’t be faulted.

Parking charges are now payable in Disney hotels but it’s cheaper than at the parks (Disney guests don’t pay at parks). We didn’t use the busses as we always hire a car.

Top tip. Don’t forget to get a visitor toll pass - (google it) a tag goes on your rear view mirror and deals with all the tolls. Saves being ripped off by the hire car companies and best thing is it’s free as long as you return the tag as you walk from dropping off your car into the airport. All very easy.

Would stay again and maybe get lucky on a revamped room.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Disney all star music resort with another couple. We stayed two nights at the resort ( the day before new year Eve and night of New Year’s Eve). The first night was a good stay. They updates the rooms and they look way better than they did before. The second night we walk in at 2:00 AM coming from the New Years celebration at the park. The room was not serviced even though I had not opted out of it. We go to shower and to our surprise the big bottle of soap that is in the shower is completely out even though we had only stayed there for one day. If you aren’t going to service the rooms at least fill up the bottle and ensure it will last for the two night stay. So that was very disappointing because very gross from the partying at the park and coming home to no soap to wash off our bodies. So the plan the next morning is to sleep in because we didn’t get into bed until 2:30-3AM after showering. 8:30AM we are woken up by the sound of some sort of vehicle reversing and beeping directly outside of our room. We all fall back asleep. 9AM the maintenance guy outside starts power washing the giant guitar directly outside of our door. He also decided to power wash the hallway and what sounded like our door. The phones don’t have a number for the front desk so I called the Disney guest services and filed a complaint hoping they would stop the power washing until at least check out time or near it. Nothing happened. So my fiancé and I walked down to front office and she said that she notified the manager and they were getting in touch with the maintenance group. By 10:15ish the guy finally finished Power washing and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done about it. If I’m staying at a hotel I would never think that I wouldn’t be given the courtesy of using my room to its full advantage ( I.e. wanting to sleep in late after being in the parks until 1:30 AM. It’s literally the only reason for having a room is to have a place to sleep. The manager called the room and talked to fiancé. All the manager said was “ oh they started that early, I’m sorrry” and then hung up the phone. He literally didn’t give a crap. Apparently disney being known for service and making sure everyone has a quality experience has gone down the toilet. This is probably the worse experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel. Go give your money to the Marriott or hiltons that are Disney affiliated because at least you don’t have to worry about the power washer out the door.

Just left here after a six night stay in a family suite. We had no complaints about the room or resort.

The just remodeled family suites are thoughtfully designed and big enough for six people. While there isn’t a lot of square footage, there is ample storage space with drawers, hooks, and shelves everywhere. The bathroom has multiple towel racks. In the main room, the queen size pull down bed is very comfortable and cleverly turns into a table large enough for four people when put up. The other bed turns into a couch when put up, so you don’t have to sit on the beds all the time. The pull down beds also make the rooms feel larger. The main room is like the regular rooms at the hotel. In the family suites, there also is a bedroom with a queen bed and a second bathroom. The tvs are large with all the typical channels.

It was really helpful to have a kitchenette equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker and microwave., and supplied with disposable plates, cups, and silverware. The kitchenettes are only available in the family suites. The regular rooms have a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker.

We had no problems with busses. Maximum wait was 15 minutes and the drivers were very friendly. If you have a scooter or wheelchair, the drivers are very accommodating.

We didn’t use the pools or other amenities but they looked great and well maintained. We were in the Calypso section where the preferred rooms are located so the distance to the front of there resort wasn’t a problem.

Based on other reviews I was concerned we’d hear noise from other rooms, but it wasn’t an issue. No more than any other hotel.

The front desk staff were exceptional. They were knowledgeable and able to work magic when we needed help with park reservations and a few other requests.

Housekeeping comes in every other day to replace towels, replenish supplies, and remove trash. They work very hard and do a great job.

I stay in hotels 45 to 60 nights a year, and almost always notice maintenance issues I need to call in. I really had nothing to complain about here!

If you plan to spend most of your time in the parks, you’d be very happy at this resort. It’s clean, comfortable, and the service is great!

A great option for lower budgets, you still get the park perks of early entry and free transportation to the parks as well as lots of disney magic with bold designs outside the rooms and around the hotel area.

The rooms themselves were clean and tidy, although not very highly themed they were perfectly adequate with coffee machine and facilities refilled.

We used the app to check in and out and it worked very well.

Our room was cleaned every 2 days with plenty of towels and our bedding was changed every 4 days.
The whole hotel was clean and tidy, even after hurricane Ian the place was spotless again within a day or two.

The staff we spoke to were very helpful, especially when we couldn't link our magic bands and they had to get a new one and connect them for us.

The food is OK, good pizza and waffles and considering you're usually not at the hotel that much its ample selection, for us we had a few days at the hotel feeling ill and then 3 days for the hurricane so it got abit samey for us.
There is a McDonalds within walking distance, and you can eat at other resorts you'd just need to go to a park or disney springs first and then get a bus from there to the hotel (or a lyft).

Refill cups are a must!

No need to bring pool towels, there are locations to pick up and drop off pool towels for use.

Busses were regular, we didn't wait more than 15 minutes, although they do get very full first and last thing and you will have to stand at times because they can really cram you on there, this doesn't really bother us too much although it is quite far to be standing coming back from Magic kingdom after a long day.

We would stay here again, considering the pricing at the all star resorts is quite abit cheaper than the other options it means we can afford to do more of the dining experiences in the parks.

You can arrive early and they will hold your luggage until the room is ready (usually after 3 pm, although I have had to wait until after 5 pm once and they did not reimburse us for time lost). You can fully utilize the pools, transportation and restaurants. There are restrooms with changing station by the pool.
