Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is often praised for providing a good value stay for those seeking a budget-friendly Disney adventure. Guests have lauded the modern and comfortable rooms, although some have mentioned they are a bit on the small side and can be noisy. While the hotel's thematic elements and family-oriented atmosphere generally impress, the less frequent housekeeping service has been a point of contention for some. The service overall receives compliments for its friendliness and helpfulness, despite occasional delays and inconsistencies reported. Travelers also enjoy the amenities, but suggest the pools may feel chilly and the in-room beverage coolers could be improved.

Hotel's Favourite
Great place to stay if you’re on a budget and want to stay on Disney property. We prefer the deluxe resorts, but stayed here for a couple nights this trip also. It’s hard to not compare the two, so I feel more negative towards Sports than if I never stayed deluxe.

The hotel is clean and you’re taken well care of. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need (minus a microwave but there is one in the food court). Beds, including the pull down, are comfortable.

We were in the home run section facing the pool. We were far enough away that it wasn’t all that noisy from the pool though. The location was nice. A little far from the main section, but nothing too bad.

We do enjoy the food courts of the values. They have much better options than a lot of the deluxes do. Although they don’t have a sit down restaurant, but we had two meals there and a mix of food and we enjoyed it all.
Buses to the parks were good for us. Didn’t have any issues, although we also weren’t trying to use them in the morning or evening major rushes.

Really the major downfall (even if you’ve never stayed deluxe) is the noise. The all star resorts (and values in general) are very noisy. Between the pools, the football field, and just all the kids/teens here in general it is very loud. We also heard our next door neighbors yelling at their kids multiple times during our couple days there.

We would recommend this place, or we would stay, for budget purposes or if you plan on spending very little time in the room. It’s nicely themed, clean, convenient, and you get all the Disney perks.

This was our second time to visit the All Star Sports Resort. We chose to stay here because we are not looking for a luxury room when going to DIsney world. We want a convenient, clean place to stay. With the perks, it is by far the most practical option for us. With the Magic Express, we do not have to rent a car, and we do not have to fool with luggage at the airport. Having the bus system available for us at the resort makes it very, very worth the price. The rooms are dated and need refurbishing, but were clean. The bed and pillows were THE BEST. It has an in room refrigerator, but desperately needs a microwave as well. The room is pretty bare basics. There were enough towels for our stay (albeit NOT the quality you would expect), so we opted out of housekeeping for our three day stay and received a $20 gift card in exchange for opting out - that was very nice. The All Star Sports resort is the first drop off on the Magic Express from the airport which was great. A few of the staff (one being a manager) has some attitude problems, but in general the staff was very nice. The resort is very clean. The food we got at the cafeteria was very good -- a fabulous salad and great quesadillas, It is a stress free experience, which is what a vacation should be,.

Sounds like you had a real home run visit at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort! As you mentioned, this Value Resort is wonderful for those who are looking for a clean, convenient and comfortable place to refuel after a fun-filled day, but it also has everything you need if a relaxing pool day is at the top of your to-do list; it's the best of both worlds! No matter which Walt Disney World Resort hotel you choose, it comes with the incredible benefit of Disney's Magical Express, meaning your relaxation can start the moment you step off the plane. I'm sorry to hear you experienced some frustrations regarding the level of service you received during your visit, and I want to sincerely thank you for sharing that feedback with us. Otherwise, I'm glad you were overall pleased with our Cast Members. It may interest you to know that right around the corner, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort boasts those refurbished rooms you're looking for! It may be worth considering for your next visit! Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts! We'll see you again real soon for another magical visit! Liz Disney Social Reviews

I stayed from a Wednesday-Friday, for a reasonably price for Disney. It was 3 adults in 1 room, we weren't falling over each other, but I would be prepared to kind of sleep on each....as the beds are only full sized beds as opposed to queen beds that are normally in hotel rooms. It wasn't so much of a problem, but if I were to stay here again I wouldn't do it with 3 people so I could have my own bed. Also if you are a coffee addict, bring your own coffee maker because there are NONE in the rooms! We have a small portable coffee maker that we were able to bring.
Food
The food at this resort is amazing!!! Totally underrated!
We actually ended up eating 2 breakfast, 1 lunch and a dinner there. It's great food for pretty good Disney food price! For breakfast I got the Mickey waffles with sausage and bacon one morning, a bagel the other. Everything was delicious! For lunch it was right after we checked in and just about to head to MK. I ate the Turkey Panini with house made chips, I would eat this every day!! My only regret is not getting a picture of it!!!
For dinner it was the night we checked in we had come back from MK and were thinking about going to Epcot, but we were tried and knew we had the next day for epcot for we went to see what they had for dinner. They have steak y'all! Good steak too! It had to have been 4oz. It came with garlic butter on top, 2 sides and a dinner roll for 15.99! The steak was so tender you could cut it with a plastic butter knife! I also got the Gus Gus cupcake that was perfect! So moist and delicious!
The staff was so nice and helpful throughout the 3 days, your typical amazing Disney staff!
Transportation is busses, they came pretty regularly and because of where the resort is it's not a long ride to MK, or Epcot or any of the other parks I would think
I would totally recommend this hotel, especially if you're on a budget!

Thanks for joining us out on the field, Danielle! I’m thrilled you had such a pleasant stay overall, with Mickey-Shaped Waffles aplenty and sweet desserts – like that adorable cupcake to celebrate the anniversary of Cinderella. I do apologize for the disappointments with your room and would love to let you know our neighboring location, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, has just undergone a transformation. These rooms now offer queen-sized beds and in-room coffee makers. It sounds like that might be the perfect fit for your next getaway. We look forward to seeing you at bat again! We stayed in All Stars Sports as a last minute addition to attend mickeys very merry Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to the resort having only previously stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, whilst they certainly don’t compare, my stay was fine at All Stars Sports. We had a preferred room so were situated extremely close to the main building which was fantastic, the cast members on the check in desk were really helpful and very nice to deal with. We had a package delivered and it was brought to our room which was really handy. The room was a good size maybe in a little need of an update but fine, my only issue was we seemed to have a smell of cleaning product or air freshener in the room I’m not sure what it was but it was strong and not the most pleasant smell but you assimilated pretty quickly to it! I didn’t use the pool but it looked big. The shop was a good size and the cast members were really friendly, the same with the food court, although I found there was always one part of my food that was cold I’m not sure why or how it happened but it was every-time so could have been me! The buses were fine definitely more on than port Orleans we didn’t really wait at all for a bus. There did seem to be a lot of schools or teams staying there which as an adult traveler with no children I didn’t love, it was fine we just hadn’t realised competitions can take place there not being from America it’s not something I thought to check. Overall this resort is fine, it’s clean, comfortable beds, has access to all the usual Disney perks such as the magical express and nice cast members but personally for a longer stay or had it been available I would have chosen riverside simply for the fact it feels more of an adult resort but that is not to say I was disappointed with my stay at the all stars sports resort and if I was staying for a quick stay I would definitely consider it again.

I'm happy to hear Disney's All-Star Sports was just what you needed for a quick holiday getaway! While it sounds like you experienced some minor disappointments during your time with us, it's so good to know they didn't have a negative impact on your whole visit. Particularly when it comes to challenges you may encounter with housekeeping and dining, I always encourage you to speak with a Cast Member at the Front Desk or in the area; we always want to turn those things around for you while you're still here! As you mentioned, they're always happy to help! It may interest you to know the rooms at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort were recently refurbished, so if you're looking for a similar atmosphere and energy with beautiful new rooms, that might be a place to consider next time! Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts! No matter which Resort you choose to visit next, we'll see you again real soon! Liz Disney Social Reviews

This was the second time we stayed at this resort on our family vacation. The resort is considered a value resort, but if you are on a tight budget, it really isn’t your best choice for a Orlando/Disney stay. It is well maintained and the staff are really great. We like to stay on Disney property because you can go on the Disney Dinning plan and the transportation is good (and part of the package). You get perks like being able to get fast passes 2 months ahead, instead of the 1 month for non- Disney guests, they offer very inexpensive shipping (it was cheaper to send our souvenirs home then to take them on the plain), their pools are heated and the one perk we didn’t want but ended up needing, free transportation to the Hospital.
Our first stay to All Star resort was in 2018. We stayed in the pool area and were very happy. We will not make the mistake of staying ANYWHERE NEAR the football courtyard again. That was where we were placed this year. The court yard is like a amphitheater, with the ability to carry every noise all the way to the 3rd floor and beyond. If you enjoy sleeping in (like past 7 am), don’t expect to enjoy the quiet as the morning staff mows and manages the AstroTurf football field for the first few hours in the morning and children happily play football while parents cheer them on all day and all night. I get that we are in a family resort, but maybe a little more noise insulation in those rooms would be be a good idea?
Overall it’s a nice place to stay and I would stay again if I was staying in Disney. However, I will be more specific with where we want our rooms in the future.

Thank you for sharing your experience staying at our sporty Resort. We want your visit to be a home run from start to finish, and I’m sorry this was not the case due to the noisiness of your surroundings. I understand how this takes away from your relaxation, which is an important part of your overall vacation experience. For your next visit, I would encourage you to request a room with a view of the landscaping, as opposed to a view of a pool area or themed courtyard. With a landscape view, you’re sure to find yourself in a quieter environment. You can send us such requests prior to your arrival by phone or online when utilizing our Online Check-In service. Our Front Desk team will then do their best to get you a room that fits these requests. I hope this helps, and I hope we get to see you again for a better visit soon. AJ Disney Social Reviews

This is a great budget option if you are looking for an alternative to one of the premium resorts which Disney has to offer.

Great location, with free and regular shuttle access to and from the parks. The furthest being Magic Kingdom (a short 10 minutes) and the closest being Animal Kingdom (5 minutes)

The rooms are spacious, clean, full of all of necessary amenities such as hairdryer, coffee machine, fridge, body wash, shampoo and many of the rooms were recently renovated which gave them a fresh and modern feel.

The staff are friendly and helpful. My only observation/recommendation would be for them to ensure they properly refrigerate medical fridge items. After a day we requested to change rooms due to a connecting door and volume and had to pack up our luggage/ fridge items and store them with luggage services.

During the time the fridge items were with luggage services they had been properly stored . however upon return to the new room my medical fridge items were left outside of the fridge on the table. I would have expected the staff to realise that fridge items (including medication) should be stored in the fridge. This was disappointing, especially after emphasising the importance with both reception and luggage services.

On arrival we were initially placed in the American football section of the hotel. Whilst walking to our room, we had to make sure to carefully avoid upwards of 50 kids playing American football on the field, dodging multiple footballs that were flying towards us. We understand that this is a family friendly hotel with lots of kids (and adults) excited about their holiday. Turns out that these large groups of children were as a result of a flag football competition. Apparently the hotel hosts lots of big groups for local competitions so I would bear this in mind before booking the hotel if you don’t like large groups. Unfortunately, because the large groups weren’t supervised, they were banging doors and running away and shouting until gone 11:30PM at night. We were moved to the tennis block which was much quieter and put our stay back on track.

The shop on site is convenient, and has the basics such as food, medical supplies, and merch.

Overall, I would recommend a stay here but I would make enquiries with the hotel as to whether there are any large groups staying before you book your trip.

This place has been ‘under renovation’ for years. Many of the rooms have uncomfortable, sagging mattresses and horrible, dingy looking decor. Walls are paper-thin. Noisy groups of kids and ‘cheerleading squads’ are out on the field making horrific noise before 9am and if your room is anywhere near them you can hear every scream and cheer. Nonsensically, they give those groups rooms in the quieter area of the motel and the rest of us are put where we must endure their racket. Stay clear.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort with us. Our Guests' feedback is incredibly important to us as it allows us to provide the excellent Guest service for which we are so well known. I'm very sorry to read of your disappointment regarding the quality of your room and the disruptive behavior of some of the other Guests during your stay. Our Guests should always expect a comfortable stay with us, and I apologize that this was not your experience. While you may have been disenchanted with this Resort, I hope that you will choose to visit another one of our Resorts soon. You may enjoy the tranquil, serene vibe of Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Both the Riverside and the French Quarter areas of this Resort location are surrounded by beautiful landscaping and feature a smaller, more intimate setting than you found at the Disney's All-Star Resorts. We hope to see you real soon! Ginny Disney Social Reviews

We live about an hour from Disney and decided to stay at the last minute after a night at Epcot as opposed to driving on I4 at night. When we called Disney (rather than booking online) we were able to get a pass holder rate of $150, and overall I think it was definitely worth that. My husband and I had stayed here many times when we were younger for our respective sporting events/competitions, but the rooms have been significantly upgraded since then, and I was more impressed than I expected to be for a value resort (and I’m fairly high maintenance when it comes to hotels). We stayed in a room with a queen and Murphy bed which, when folded up, has a nice table and chairs and fits the space well. When it’s down the room is tight, especially if you have something big like a double stroller, mobility device, or pack n play. There is a “beverage cooler” which is nice for waters, but not very large or feel, and not cold enough to be considered a fridge. There is a sliding barn door from the bedroom to the bathroom, and then another from the bathroom to the toilet/shower/tub which is nice if you have babies that need to sleep in the main room. It seems like they tried to optimize the small bathroom by utilizing vertical organizational space which is nice if you’re there for an extended period. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The AC is central but the vent in our room blew straight towards the curtains, so if they’re closed the room may not get as cold as you’d like (as born and bred Floridians we prefer ice cold hotel rooms). We did not notice any of the noise complaints other reviews have shared (we were in building 4, center court, 2nd floor; didn’t notice any teams since school starts back this week for a lot of Florida students). The breakfast was great for kids as they had Mickey cartoons in the food court showing, and also coloring. It also wasn’t as expensive as I expected it to be. The lobby also has a digital picture screen where you can take pictures with the characters and link them to your Disney account with your magic band. The hotel is next to McDonalds which we thought would be a quick snack after the parks closed but I guess everyone also had that idea last night and it took about 40 minutes so just be mindful of time if you’re on a schedule or have hungry little kids. Overall I’d say it’s perfect for a quick night or two if you’re looking to stay within budget. I probably wouldn’t stay for longer than that or pay much more than we did for what you get.

I have stayed in this hotel before with school and I loved it but staying by myself was a little harder than I thought it would be. I did not get a room until 4 o'clock when I went back with my partner and asked for a room the day that we checked in. I had a package waiting to be delivered to my room from Disney and I needed a room number and in order for it to be delivered I needed and room. Therefore if I waited until I got back from the parks late that night I might not have gotten my package in time during my stay. My biggest issue was the transportation to the airport. I was put on a 6:55 bus for a 10 flight that boarded at 9:25. The bus was late coming to the resort. And I understand that it needed it go to the other 2 All star resorts but we sat at one of the resorts for 5-10 minutes for what seemed like no reason. If we hit any traffic on the way to the airport I might have missed my flight back home. Next time I stay I am just going to pay for an uber or rent a car because the bus caused too much anxiety and left little time for us to make it through security and get to out gate and eat some food before out flight.

We recently stayed one night here and enjoyed it! The rooms are smaller (two double beds), but were very clean. We were in building 6 - Surf's Up! We were near the Surfboard Bay pool, food court, lobby, etc. Great location! College cheerleaders and dancers were staying there as their championships were going on, so at times it got loud during the day with them practicing, but it was kind of fun to watch and they were quiet in the evening. Our son enjoyed playing badminton and ladder golf over by the Home Run pool and both pools were warm and clean and we had fun walking around the resort looking at the different buildings with the sports decor. Staff was very nice and we would return for another stay!

I found it fine. I know a neighboring room needed the route rebooted once. I didn’t count the sockets but they were each side of one bed and another couple over the sideboard (and that’ll depend on your room, I think) but we brought a multi-USB plug too which are so handy! We had more than enough for three people and multiple devices.
