Room was not a 4 stars. Housekeeping is done very late, and they skipped a day. Many things were not functioning in the room. Valet parking is very busy at time. Personal is not nice. Amenities are below average. The only thing that was high is the price!

BED BUGS. We checked out a day early after finding bed bugs in our sheets. The front desk was not apologetic, and didn't offer a refund of any kind. (It seemed like it was a common occurrence.)
Several days later, the hotel has yet to refund anything... Very poor customer service.

I left as soon I checked in. This place is so Outdated that felt depressed. Beat up cabinets and furniture. Cheap mattresses. If we had a decent window I might of tolerate. Only way to see out if you stand bc window is so up high. There was a building under Constrction; from bed I could see the high rise construction building. Just ghetto! Wasted $$.

This place is in desperate need of repairs. Outdated and dirty. There was a huge wad of hair hanging from the sprinkler system just outside our door..no washcloths..no phone to call front desk. The bathroom was so gross I was afraid to shower without flip flops on. When we pulled back the duvet on our bed to go to sleep, THERE WAS SAND IN THE BED. They clearly didn't change the sheets or the sand was in the duvet and they didn't bother to get it out. So GROSS!!!!! Staff was not friendly, with the exception of one young lady who got us new sheets (Wish I could remember her name).This was the Worst hotel I've ever set foot in. The only good thing about the place was that the beach is right there and it's a nice beach. The only reason we stayed the two nights that we did was because it was Superbowl weekend and we didn't have a choice. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

Having stayed in two kinds of rooms in this property I can say that the room without the balcony, at least the one we stayed in, is nicer with more up to date features and better lighting. The balcony is nice however, and as the windows do not open, it is the only way to hear the ocean and get the ocean breeze. We stayed in two rooms over a four day stay because of a glitch in our reservation. Checking in and out at this hotel is a pain with valet parking and an added trip to the security desk to fill out more forms. The very early 10 AM checkout has no flexibility and there were no early check in without paying a fee and if they hold your bags for your they also charge a fee. Their business model seems to be to rack up resort and other a la carte fees. Buyer beware. If this review were based on the room and view alone it would have a high rating but the bureaucracy and poor service really lowered the enjoyment of our free days in Miami. There are a lot of other properties in Miami with beautiful views that do not have these problems.
