Dirty and run down rooms. Mould on the bedding and nets. Extremely overpriced. In real need of renovation.
Not a healthy environment. We had travelled from the UK and were so tired that we had no choice but to sleep here for 1 night. We booked through booking.com - they should not be selling rooms to this motel.
Our check in experience was so easy no our room was the best. The tiled floors were clean, the king size bed comfortable and we even had a full kitchen. We had stopped here the previous week on our way to Key West and loved the location to the beach and all of the great restaurants in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The pool area is comfortable and the pool so clean. They also have plenty of grilling areas for your long term stay. Once we parked our car, we didn’t need to get back in again. The family owned property is the perfect place to stay when visiting this area. They were on point with service and we will be back!
Stayed on May 3,2023, in Lauderdale by the sea to visit with my best friend on his birthday. Rented a one night stay at Shore Haven for the visit. When we checked in th owner failed to let us know that there was a water line break ( we discovered this after the office closed for the day. We had no hot water at all the water pressure in the sink and shower was terrible. No female could have washed there hair. My (be a male) hair is short and it took minutes to get the shampoo out of my hair because of the water pressure. The next morning I told the owner about this and asked him why he didn't tell us!! No response never offer a discount. Don't stay at this place (also there were dead bugs over the bathroom floor. Not the place to stay!!!
This is the most filthy and disgusting place I have ever been to.I booked this hotel based on the reviews .According to my experience ,I’m not sure how someone can say this hotel has „clean rooms “.Are you kidding me ??After one night I went to the office to speak to the owner that we changed our minds .He asked me what happened ,so I told him that this place is dirty .Then he rolled his eyes and followed with the return of money .I was actually expecting some kind of apology or maybe resolution of this uncomfortable and unpleasant situation,but instead ,with a raised voice he said “I don’t want to discuss it anymore with you “ .Just terrible .Seemed like the tub was cleaned 30 years ago ,first and the last time .Stained shower curtain,filthy,stinky carpets and nasty dust .I never been so disrespected as a customer .So poor and unprofessional service,I don’t recommend.
I reserved this resort to stay on 2/3-2/5 2023. The pics are totally different from online. I knew it was a problem when they had a sign outside the place saying " No Vacancy." It was a sour smell in the lobby (old), and when I looked at my room, it smelled and was very dated. I now understand why they don't charge resort fees, because it's a motel. I based my decision to stay, on the reviews. I was very disappointed and decided to book a room at Holiday Inn. If you like motel vibes, this is the place for you!
