We booked last minute for 5 nights and it was fairly cheap compared to the few hotels left with availability, so we were not expecting much to be honest, but we were so pleasantly surprised. It was just great!!
The owner was just so nice, and super helpful. They asked what time we needed to leave, rather than be told you had to check out at a certain time. We had a night flight back to London, so that was invaluable to us.
The room was amazing, really big with kitchen and big dressing room, handy to put cases away. Looked like nice new floors, spotlessly clean. They had a really good system where your room was not serviced, but if you wanted your towels cleaned you put them in the laundry basket (provided) outside your door and they were replaced.
There are two really nice pool areas, hot tub and grill. It had a really nice atmosphere, everyone was friendly - the owners, housekeepers and guests.
The location was perfect, right next to all the bars/restaurants of LBTS. The only slight negative was it is on the A1A so you could hear the traffic, but close to the traffic lights, so traffic was slow, not like cars zooming past. Having said that, it didn't bother us at all, just think it is fair to mention.
In summary, we would definitely return and would thoroughly recommend it.

This motel is showing it's age, but clean, well cared for, and a wonderful owner operator family. Each section has it's own pool and many chairs and blow up floats for adults or children. Nice grill area and a reasonably priced washer and dryer.

I have stayed here a couple of times and I love that it is so close to restaurants and stores. For the price and location you can't go wrong. The owner Arthur and his father have a great thing going here they are very friendly and always accommodating Will certainly go back again.

The hosts (Arthur and parents) as well as the cleaning team was incredibly accommodating. They even upgraded us upon arrival. The room was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Towels were available as many as needed, only needed to ask. The cleanliness of the room was not so great, but the location and friendly people made up for it. Lovely atmosphere, also with the other tenants. Very warm, social and nice. There was a heated + non-heated pool plus a jacuzzi, which our kids used intensely. Also, the beach is literally 3 minutes away. Parking was free!

I reserved this resort to stay on 2/3-2/5 2023. The pics are totally different from online. I knew it was a problem when they had a sign outside the place saying " No Vacancy." It was a sour smell in the lobby (old), and when I looked at my room, it smelled and was very dated. I now understand why they don't charge resort fees, because it's a motel. I based my decision to stay, on the reviews. I was very disappointed and decided to book a room at Holiday Inn. If you like motel vibes, this is the place for you!

Our check in experience was so easy no our room was the best. The tiled floors were clean, the king size bed comfortable and we even had a full kitchen. We had stopped here the previous week on our way to Key West and loved the location to the beach and all of the great restaurants in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The pool area is comfortable and the pool so clean. They also have plenty of grilling areas for your long term stay. Once we parked our car, we didn’t need to get back in again. The family owned property is the perfect place to stay when visiting this area. They were on point with service and we will be back!

Stayed on May 3,2023, in Lauderdale by the sea to visit with my best friend on his birthday. Rented a one night stay at Shore Haven for the visit. When we checked in th owner failed to let us know that there was a water line break ( we discovered this after the office closed for the day. We had no hot water at all the water pressure in the sink and shower was terrible. No female could have washed there hair. My (be a male) hair is short and it took minutes to get the shampoo out of my hair because of the water pressure. The next morning I told the owner about this and asked him why he didn't tell us!! No response never offer a discount. Don't stay at this place (also there were dead bugs over the bathroom floor. Not the place to stay!!!

We missed everyone at Shore Haven this past year, and just had to go for Labor Day!! So good to see Adam, Arthur, and Kisses (kitty!) again! We had a peaceful, relaxing stay as usual, just wish we could have stayed longer but husband starts new job in am. We used to fly down every year, but in 2001 moved here for good, and now we can drive to Shore Haven!! We intend to stay again as soon as possible because we love it! We got our favorite room- nice surprise! Same one we stayed at first time. I love it because its a kitchenette and has a walk in closet (really a room) where one can sit and dress for dinner. We love the pool(s) and jacuzzi, and love the water- my hair comes out perfect unlike at home! Had a wonderful time and can't wait to get back there! A-1 accommodations, wonderful people, always great to us!

This family owned place is our family’s go to for the second generation. The attraction is the location and simple clean accommodations. Love the beach and restaurants are all walkable.
If you like chain hotels or lots of frills this is not the place for you. The simple and thoughtful touches like some kids toys demonstrate the owner’s caring.

Excellent location and nice owner are the positives. Run down, old, and very dirty are the negatives. The ceiling fan had an inch of dust on it. The bathroom floor and tub were dirty. They don't have enough people working there to properly clean the rooms. I only saw one woman cleaning the rooms and with the amount of rooms, there is no way she can do a good job. I wouldn't stay here again.

No i dont think they do. There is one outside for guests to use.
I'm not sure as we did not have any young children. Might call the resort to be certain.
No , it isnt.
Aruba is less than a block away. It's the 1st motel when you make a left on Commercial after the parking lot so it's really close and walkable distance to the shops, restaurants and pier.
