I just spent five nights at this hotel and was very pleased in almost all respects. I had originally booked using some of my points and had booked a standard room. I called the hotel the day before my arrival to ask if I could be upgraded to a balcony courtyard king room ........Alex was glad to do this and his kindness was appreciated. I did make a point to meet him the day after my check in and he was very professional and seemed to enjoy his position very much. A real asset to the hotel.
Only minor issue for me was I had ask for my towels to be changed and the trash cans emptied and this was not done but I was able to pick up some clean towels at the front desk and was given some trash can liners and told to just put the trash outside my door (which was picked up very promptly). This other issue was a MAJOR disturbance that happened in the early hours of Dec. 28 with some very very loud guest (kids and many adults) that disturbed a lot of other guest. I know you can not totally control the actions of others but I will say that this event was handled fairly quickly which was appreciated.
My compliments to the lady in the bistro for working with such a pleasant attitude on Christmas Day and if you get a chance, do try her Broccoli-Cheese soup ........it is super yummy.
Would I stay here again, most definitely.
