Stayed here for one night. The staff was friendly and the lobby is large and seemed clean. One thing we do love about Courtyards are the Paul Mitchell shower amenities which are awesome!

Sadly, we were not impressed with our room. The room smelled like a musty smoke smell upon entering. The rooms are renovated but shortcuts were made which take away from the renovation (i.e. the doors look like the original doors of the hotel. They look like a laminate counter top). There is an odd parking fee of $5.35 per night when the hotel is not even a resort or in a downtown location. They post about smoking not being allowed but our hallway smelled heavily of pot. Thankfully the pot smell stayed out of our room.

It’ll do the job for one night but we won’t likely return.

I have to admit that traveling during Covid really concerned me. I’m an admitted Germ-o-phob who wore gloves at the gas pump before all this crisis started. Then? I was just the crazy lady wearing gloves pumping gas. Now? I’m a trendsetter (lol). Anyway...I am IMPRESSED by this hotel. This hotel is THE CLEANEST HOTEL IVE EVER BEEN IN! Ok ok it’s during Covid BUT seriously, I walked in the room and KNEW how much time they take to disinfect and clean everything based on the smell and the look of clean of everything from the carpet to the bedding. The remote controls are all in clear bags that will get changed after each guest (hint: great idea. Do this all the time!)
No it’s not a clinical bleach smell. It’s a Clean smell. A comforting “ah I can relax here” aroma and not worry about the virus.
Now the hotel requires mask usage and has hand sanitizer everywhere, but I’m just blown away by the level of deep cleaning here.
I try hope all hotels do this level of cleaning on a regular basis from now on.
