Not worth the money. The “double” beds look like queens in the pictures but they’re really small. Don’t eat at the restaurant, we spent $117 for 3 people to have breakfast burritos and coffee. You have to wear a carnival bracelet during your stay. There aren’t many restaurants or stores within walking distance. The pictures of the hotel are deceiving. It’s not the worst place I’ve stayed at but I did believe I was booking a 4 star hotel.

We want to address the comment about no stores or restaurants within a short distance, more than 40 stores of all kinds, and over 70 restaurants within one one-mile radius as well as a free shuttle service offered by the merchants in the area.

I usually don’t right a review, I’m really not that fussy but I was compelled after we stayed. We stopped over here after our cruise. I booked on Hotwire and got a really good deal or so I thought. We’ve stayed here 6 or 8 years a ago and it was great - not too big and on the beach. Now it’s called a resort but it’s really just still a hotel if that. I guess after COVID everyone’s doing a cash grab. They have valet parking which I said no and mentioned they have self parking across the street which was fine. When we checked in they said parking was $20, I told them no valet. The self park was $20!! Valet was tfh same price????? We hung out at the pool in the afternoon and decided to get a drink at the pool bar - $15 for my rum and coke and $15 for my wife’s specialty drink. $30 for two “regular” drinks. We’re from Canada so that like $45-$50. Rooms are dated and my fridge for my beer I bought after my experience did not work. Thank god it was for only one day. And the “beach” elevator they have did not work.

The pictures are deceiving. They make it seem like the beach is welcoming and accessible. They do not tell you that you have to rent the Lounge chairs and umbrellas as the beach is not the hotel property. Then you have cabana type lounge chairs that are on the hotel property that you have to rent too. Then there is the on-site restaurant that is way over priced for food that is not good and the rudest waiter I ever encountered. I asked for plastic utensils cause we had left over food and he refused. Said I had to buy a meal to get a plastic fork. The housekeeping was awful. Didn’t even make the bed or clean the shower. There was a cockroach in the hallway outside our room. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and will never be returning. The only bright spot was the tiki bar/restaurant at the hotel next door.

Staff are so unfriendly and unhelpful.
Bed sheets clean but every else was dirty.
Cockroach in the bathroom.
Air conditioner was very very noisy
No care for the guests maintenance man hammering outside our door at 8am.
