Pros: Location, price, and the two female employees we encountered. Size of suite was great for 2adults, 2 teens, and a 9yo. Semi-private beach was great. Resort has a warm pool with a waterfall. Beach and pool toys available in the deck box near the pool. Front desk had a beach chair for us to use. Unlimited bottled water.
Cons: floor is filthy. Would it hurt to use a Swiffer mop before check in??? Gentleman at the desk was sarcastic when I asked for the beach chair that the ladies said we could borrow the day before. Was bothered when we asked about the cookies promised in the lobby (never got any) and also said absolutely no late checkout (asked for an extra hour) yet we hung out at the pool and they never started cleaning our room until 12:30.
Overall we would return but likely avoid the lobby unless the women were there :-).

During the busy time of the season we do not offer late check outs. We do this to give our housekeepers ample time to clean each suite. With suites double the size of most standard hotel rooms, it does take a bit of time to ready the room for the next guest.
Cookies are complimentary and on a first come first serve basis and placed in the lobby at 3:30 each and every afternoon. We do approximately 6 dozen cookies per day and yes they are popular and yes they do go fast.
As for beach chairs, we do provide them to guests if we have them available. These are chairs that are left behind by guests who simply can not bring them back on airplanes. These also are on a first come first serve basis and there never seems to be more thank 3 or 4 in storage at any time.
We do offer beach chairs, umbrellas and a small table for rent at our semi private beach. We are sorry if this was not communicated to you during the check in process.

After we got over 3rd floor WITHOUT an elevator this became our favorite hotel in a 3 week vacation. Clean and nicely appointed. Great pool and wonderful staff. Great fella named Chris was a godsend on the luggage to the 3rd floor.

This place was minimalistic and old which are both OK but the dirty floors were gross!! There also wasn’t an elevator but we knew before we arrived there wasn’t. We were “placed here” for a Wyndham presentation (which seemed really odd but that’s ANOTHER WHOLE STORY!) Old doesn’t bother us but walking barefoot in the room and and having black on bottom of feet isn’t acceptable.

Arrived on October 13 pretty little early before check in friendly Lady name Hannah were smile it show our first Sign that’s hotel is definitely right for us to stay there so while Hannah show our room where we stay room look like our sweet home perfect for us nice kitchen and nice atmosphere living room bedroom is perfect bed that we slept good nite long sleep pool is great staffs,housekeeping is friendly and awesome We stay for a week and we don’t want to leave but we have to go back home Now We want go back there again Yes yes We will go back for our FIRST ANNIVERSARY We want to Many Thank to anyone who work there we appreciate it and Thank you for all 😃

The property itself is excellent, the reception desk is very helpful, they offer bottled water for free whenever you stop by. This is also where you pick up and drop off your beach towels. Our room was very large, in pristine condition, and comfortable. We requested a crib but it wasn't available until our second night. That was okay - we improvised! We used the beach across the street and it is very nice and calm, we went before 9 am and were the only people there for some time. Lots of fish and birds to see around the rocky area. Our only issue is that this hotel is much further than we expected from the main clearwater beach. We enjoy walking but we did get caught in the rain a couple of times. And it was just too far to get us to the main beach as often as we would have liked.

Thank you for sharing your review. We appreciate the great feedback. We are sorry that the location was a little further from the main portion of the beach than anticipated.
We are about 8 minutes walking from the main portion of the beach but those pesky rain showers can certainly be an issue from time to time. I'm very sorry if we did not share information about the free ride service available here at the beach.
We will certainly look at ways to better communicate this service.
