We stayed as a family 2 years ago and was impressed overall. It was our first time visiting legoland and this hotel was so close. Everything was great....so this year after being stuck at home because of covid we were excited to get out have some fun. We decided to book with west inn and suites again but this time we were extremely disappointed. We checked in and were told that there was no type of breakfast being offered at the hotel ( which is fine but would have been nice to know that upon booking). We get in our room and our little girl wants to watch TV, well tv won't work. So we leave to grab something to eat and notify front desk. We're gone about 45 minutes and walk into room only to find guy in there sitting bed trying to mess with TV, no warning from front desk or anything. So we can't really eat because we have our masks on since he's in room... this lasted over an hour so we at least let our daughter eat while he messed with and eventually went and got another TV. While eating cold food now my daughter was sitting at desk and the lights were flickering she got scared so we turned off those and tried another one those seemed fine. We went to the pool around 930 or so (pool was said to be open tol 10) but couldn't get in , room key wasn't working in gate so my husband went to front but no one was there we said forget it.. by this time we were ready for bed by this so we went to take showers. My daughter asked how old the hotel was because she said everything seemed old like hundreds of years. 2 of pillow cases had holes, wallpaper was peeling, carpet dirty . Just overall unpleasant stay this time which was disappointing after the last time.
