Very nice hotel in central Madrid. The location is right off of the Puerta del Sol, so the location is hard to beat. Even with the central location, the noise from the street was not an issue for me - mostly quiet. The rooms are decent sized, clean and neat. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a Madrid stay.

Lets be honest- I had a great stay-- and I will share some details-
LOCATION-- so much to see in a very short distance-literally out the door and you are in the midst of a busy square. IF you want more quiet- ask for a room that does not FACE the square. My room did not.
The Temps when I went in MAY were manageable- so I can't say if they have good working a.c
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom- everything was solid --
The staff was able to store my luggage since I arrived into Madrid around 10am- and the staff were eager to hand out a map and all spoke good English.
I also enjoyed the morning breakfast- it was not a Hilton Spread but the coffee could be made to order, they had an excellent selection of milk including plant based, fresh fruit, and some hot dishes too. Each morning was pleasant and very clean.
always a lot of activity right outside the door- but due to where elevators are located I did feel safe here and staff very helpful.
Would recommend to others.

A true treasure. Fantastic location, beautiful rooms, clean, excellent service. Found this hotel through the Rick Steves travel guide and was not disappointed. Was our last hotel in a three week vacation and were so happy with the choice. Would highly recommend it.

I had great hopes that my stay in Madrid would be pleasant, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The place was going through remodeling of some type and there was work and noise all day which made it impossible to rest. There was no air condition in the room because they didn't allow the ac at this time of the year per their stuff. I had to keep windows open to get some relief from the hot room and that's no way to enjoy your trip. I am asking for this place to issue a partial refund of my stay.

First time at the hotel. Have eaten at the cafe before. Located right in the heart of Puerto Del Sol. They were in the middle of renovation at the end of March first of April 2024. It was unseasonably warm and they had not turned on the A/C as yet so they provided a floor fan for us. Without the fan it would have been uncomfortable to sleep. We had top floor facing the square and were not bothered by any noise. Our room was normal size for Europe with plenty of storage, comfy bed and nice size shower in bathroom. Staff were kind and helpful. I would recommend and stay again
